Wooded Backyard Wedding with tons of DIY Decor
Today’s wooded backyard wedding is just the way a wedding should be: relaxed, laid-back, and full of personality! Tyler and Emily arranged every detail to reflect their relationship and what is important to them. The gorgeous venue was their home, which is surrounded by gardens and fields of hay bales! In addition, Tyler and Emily made sure to use recyclable material wherever possible. Even Emily’s dress was vegan.

Isn’t this just the sweetest shoe photo you’ve ever seen?
The cedar pillars for the wooded backyard wedding ceremony stage were made by Emily’s father.
There were so many sweet details at this wedding. We love the canoe full of gifts and all the homemade favors: wine, roasted nuts, and zucchini bread!
Emily collected jars from craigslist to use as drinking glasses and made name tags for them all.
The wood rounds on the tables were a DIY project too!
Emily and Tyler love to garden. In fact, they actually grew a lot of the food for the wedding! The catering was done by Naturally Decadent Affairs.

Emily and Tyler sang a duet for their guests, “Jackson” by Johnny Cash. (Plus, later in the evening, Emily also busted out the Thong Song!)
A good time was clearly had by all!
