Stylish South African Wedding at Delsma Farm
We have a treat for you all today, in the form of a colorful and stylish South African wedding from welovepictures! The bride, Annelle, runs a fabulous wedding stationery company called Seven Swans, so it’s no wonder that everything is perfectly styled and there’s plenty of cute signage. Throughout the entire planning process, Dirk and Anelle never spoke of their wedding, but always called it their Groot Partyjie, which means “big party” in Afrikaans. Their fun-loving personalities really shine through in the photos!
The groom and groomsmen wore awesome rosette ribbons, clearly labeled with their roles.
Annelle and Dirk kept the church decor simple for the ceremony. Once everyone headed outside, they were greeted with bright blue and red bunting on the church rails and the groomsmen holding boxes filled with popcorn for the guests to throw at the bride and groom.
The pre-drinks station was so cute! What a great idea to have cute straws labeled with people’s names so they can keep track of their drink.
The table decor consisted of striped French linens, crates and bottles filled with white flowers, and kraft paper bags filled with cherries. The cardboard deer, which was prominently displayed on the head table, is a beloved “mascot” of Dirk and Annelle’s.
A cookie buffet served as both dessert and favors. Annelle’s brother silkscreened the cookie bags by hand and Dirk’s sister gave them the adorable wooden bride and groom topper!
Thanks to welovepictures for sharing this fun and fabulous wedding!
