Lauren and Sean’s Wedding
You all know we have a love for burlap and vintage s so when this beauty came across our screens we knew we had to share it with you all! Sean and Lauren put together a DIY wedding with some really fun ideas – silhouettes, ribbon backdrops, and honey favors.
This is what Lauren had to say: “My wedding was absolutely beautiful. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Before I was even engaged, I knew I wanted this kind of wedding. The words I used to describe the type of wedding I wanted were “Victorian, Vintage, Lovely, Pretty…” I think the wedding were all of those things.
I think that what made my wedding so beautiful was paying attention to detail and doing a lot of little projects myself. Much of our decorations were hand-made. My aunt made our table runners out of burlap and lace, for example. A lot of the other decorations in the wedding were ideas I took from blogs: table numbers, doily stars, and ribbon curtains
One of the most helpful bits of advice I can offer is to rent a golf cart! If you are getting married at a large open area like we did, it was extremely helpful to use a golf cart to shuttle us to different photo ops. It saves time and it was really fun!
