Urban Forest Wedding in Portland, Oregon
I am a donut fanatic. In fact, I have a donut day every week. I would have a donut every day, but I would probably blimp up pretty quickly. The reason I mention that is because this urban forest wedding in Portland has a donut dessert table. Yes, you read that right. A DONUT DESSERT TABLE. That is what caught my eye when I browsed through their photos. I also love their pine theme throughout their day – the paper goods are great!
Bride’s Comments: “Our urban forest wedding (with vintage flair) was all that we had hoped it would be: personal, unique, simple, beautiful, and a whole lot of fun!
“Our guests traveled to Portland from across the country, so we wanted to showcase our city by incorporating all things Portland. We encouraged our guests to travel to the wedding on the light rail (convenient and safe after some drinking), served fresh salmon for dinner, and in lieu of traditional wedding cake, we stacked Voodoo Donuts on vintage cake plates collected by Court’s mom. We love beer, so we served Oregon craft beers and gave personalized coozies away as favors. With a nod to Mike’s Wisconsin heritage, we danced the Polka.”
