Remarks from the Photographer: “Weddings are supposed to be all about romance. So I can certainly understand why couples fall in love with Paris and want to elope here. Romance is what Paris is all about. As someone who lives in Paris, I am always happy to tour the lovely cobble-stoned streets of my beautiful city with newlyweds. There are some amazing spots to take photos that are so different from any other place I have lived. When I met John and Susan, they explained what they wanted: classic and sophisticated shots in gorgeous spots throughout the city. I knew I could deliver. Their day was simply breathtaking and carefully thought out. Photographing it was a real pleasure to capture John and Susan’s love and emotion on such a special day.”

Comments from the Bride: “When John and I began planning our wedding, we knew we wanted our day to be simple and intimate, but most of all something meaningful. We had started planning a wedding in Texas, but quickly realized that was turning into everything we did not want for our special day. John and I had always talked about traveling to Europe — we had never been out of the States. So I thought, why not elope in Paris and honeymoon throughout Europe for a couple of weeks. Thankfully, John thought it was a fabulous idea and I quickly became excited for the first time since we had started planning everything. I had found this great English-speaking wedding planning agency and after a few Skype sessions knew that I could trust them with everything. I suddenly began to think that the wedding day we dreamed of was actually possible. After that, everything seemed to fall into place. We feel in love with this gorgeous chapel. When they told us it was available on the date we wanted, we knew we had made all the right choices. Our wedding was an absolute dream. From beginning to end, everything was just magical. The best part is that we have beautiful photos to relive every moment!”
