Wedding Story
Photographer’s Comments: “We knew that this was going to be a fun wedding when we found out that the bride and half of the guests were coming from South Carolina and that both the bride and groom were BMX racers.
“What we were not prepared for was how perfectly the overcast sky lit the mountains and left us with the most exquisite Tucson sunset. Brittany and her girls began the day with hair and make up by Margarita GoDiva and the ceremony and reception site venue, Reflections At the Buttes.
“The bride wore a fully beaded Allure gown from Jo-Lins Bridal and Formal wear, located in Columbia, SC.
“KJ and his boys wore tuxedos from the Black by Vera Wang line which they got from Men’s Warehouse.
“Brittany kept her decor simple and clean with white florals, silver details, and customized acrylic accents and signs everywhere- which I loved! The acrylic was so unique but also fit perfectly with the rest of the decor. The bouquets were simple white tulip bunches from Eric’s Flower Market.
“The cake was done by Sweet Creations Studio and the wedding rings were from Brownlee Jewelers in Charlotte, NC.”
From the bride: “KJ and I met racing BMX bicycles. He lived in Tucson, AZ and I lived in Batesburg, SC at the time. After we started talking we found out that we were both checking out the other at a race a few months prior in Louisville, KY.
“We talked online for three months before meeting in person at a BMX race in Oldsmar, FL. We officially started dating that week.
“KJ moved to SC 9 months later. He’s the sweetest guy I’ve ever met and he spoils me! We’ve been together 4.5 years now.
“My favorite Place to vacation is Destin, FL. KJ told me he had planned a nice dinner for us while we were there. He kept the location a surprise. We arrived at the restaurant, Beach Walk Cafe at Henderson Park Inn, and were shown to our table, which was set up on the beach all by itself. We ate the most delicious dinner and had the most beautiful view of the ocean. As if that weren’t a big enough surprise, at the end of the dinner KJ got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Everything was perfect!”
