Wedding Story
As the first of John’s groomsmen walked down the aisle towards him he was already being overwhelmed with so much emotion. With each groomsman and bridesmaid that walked down the tears started to flow more freely between John & the bridal party. The emotion was so raw and so visible in the room. In that moment we didn’t think it could get any sweeter… then Kirsten walked in the room and blew everyone away. Tears were falling all over the room as they exchanged the sweetest vows and promised to love each other forever.
Wow. What a day. What a beautiful, powerful display of love between two people and for them.
Add in all the southern charm you could ever want and you’ve got a pretty good glimpse at how wonderful John & Kirsten’s wedding day was! Seriously!! They got married at Oak Island, an antebellum home situated on a perfect little island, the epitome of southern elegance. Magnolia leaves, a lot of sparkle, and two of the cutest flowers girls EVER and it was all our Southern dreams come true! The flower girls had cute little flower crowns & fluffy tulle dresses and oh my goodness, they were the cutest things we’ve ever seen!!
Really though, we absolutely loved being a part of John & Kirsten’s day. They’re such an incredible couple full of so much joy & genuine love for each other and their loved ones. We can’t wait to see where this amazing marriage journey leads them!
Even though it was the storm of all storms during their ceremony (that was supposed to be outdoors) they managed to have the perfect day. This is what we call a pretty gorgeous plan-b!
