Wedding Story
Photographer’s Comments: “The morning at Michelle’s place started with her and her bridesmaids getting ready. How stunning is her dress from Everly Fine Bridal! Especially the delicate lace patterns caught our eye. Her loose hair style and natural makeup were a perfect fit. “Michelle and Connor both love the outdoors, so for their wedding they chose a gorgeous outdoor ceremony location! The UBC Botanical Gardens offer an arbour, covered in vines as a unique backdrop. “Connor saw Michelle for the first time when she and her dad walked down the aisle. No first look for these two! “After the ceremony, all the guests were treated to a glass of champagne on the lawn, followed by some bridal party photos. Michelle’s bouquet and the bridesmaids’ bouquets all included eucalyptus and white flowers, with a couple of pink roses, that tied in well with the bridesmaids’ blush dresses. “And because the couple loves the forest so much, they took some time out for couple portraits at the Pacific Spirit National Park. A gorgeous forest with that typical West Coast vibe. “The reception, which took place at the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre, had decor with a hint of rustic. The long wooden bridal party table with wooden chairs, was definitely eye catching. And the draping with the gold hoops made for a festive background. “Throughout the night, the couple surprised their guests with a donut station. They skipped on cutting a cake and shared a first donut as husband and wife instead! And much later, they had a pretzel bar! “A picture perfect sunset and a fun dance party concluded the rest of the night.”
