Their Story

We have the cutest “kissing booth engagement session” to share with you all today! Matt and Kasey are high school sweethearts. When they first started dating, Kasey tried to climb a tree to impress Matt, but miserably failed and scraped up her arms in the process. Inspired by that cute story, the fabulous ladies of Sassyfras Studios designed this engagement session with the theme “Kasey & Matt sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love (the engagement session), then comes marriage (the wedding, of course!)” We love all the details they put together, and you can tell that Matt and Kasey are totally smitten with each other! Kasey’s dress is from Anthropologie. Her headband and flower pin were made by Sassyfras Studios, who also shot all these lovely photos! Christen and Lauren of Sassyfras Studios built this adorable kissing booth the night before the shoot to play off the kissing theme. We love it! Sassyfras Studios is also planning the details for Matt and Kasey’s wedding, which sounds amazing! It’s going to be filled with color, tree logs, burlap, hombre flowers, vintage potato sacks, streamers galore.. and fun little tidbits like the kissing booth, possibly turned photo booth! We can’t wait to see it!
