Fall Wedding in California – The French Estate

Emily and Tom had a beautiful Fall wedding in California photographed by Kurt Boomer Photography. The lady that could best describe her special day is the bride herself, so without further ado here is what Emily had to say.

Bride’s Comments: “We fell in love with the French Estate wedding venue because it offered a vintage, outdoor wedding in the fall. Since the French Estate is located in the City of Orange, which is a historic area for farming vegetables and citrus trees, it was a perfect fit for our farmer’s market theme.

“We were hands-on for the entire wedding; from start to finish. Tom illustrated and designed the wedding invites and Orange County tote bag favors. I made many DIY projects, such as sewing the ring pillow and my own wedding veil. We decided for the bulk of our decor to use fresh fruits and veggies, with minimal flowers, which we purchased at the local farmers market. We spray-painted tin cans with chalkboard paint to carry through the produce theme and then used different vintage can labels to mark each table.

“For our food, we love going to food trucks and trying out new food. So the Flip Truck was a perfect find with their passion for high quality and great tasting gourmet sliders and truffle french fries.”
