Wedding Story

We basically love every type of wedding out there, but we have a special place in our hearts for weddings that involve family. We love when family and friends pitch in to give the bride and groom an extra special day. That is what this Fall wedding in Montana is all about. Annie and Brandon’s family helped with everything from desserts to decor!  Nicole Slater Photography was behind the lens capturing all the beautiful details!

Fall Wedding in Montana – Bride’s Remarks

“I’m a no-frills kind of gal.  We’ve been together for four years so when we got engaged in April, I was ready to party!  We decided that we wanted a wedding that had the feel of a big family reunion with all of our best friends from all over the place and our awesome family.  We also wanted to have the wedding at my parent’s house in Montana.  And although having a fall wedding in Montana is always questionable (it can be 70 degrees or snowing!), we wanted to have it on October 1st.  We had the mantra of hoping for the best, planning for the worst and we totally lucked out and had a BEAUTIFUL weekend!

“We wanted the wedding to be a community affair – we wanted to involve people in our wedding and in our celebration so that all really felt like they were taking part.  And they did!  Our family and friends did ALL of the decorating, baked ALL of the beautiful and delicious pies, and cooked ALL of the salads and side dishes for the wedding on the morning of the wedding!!  It was a little stressful (OK… a LOT stressful) but it worked!”

The dessert cards say it all, “Chocolate Cheesecake.”  Who wouldn’t want to go to this Montana wedding? Thanks to Annie and Brandon for sharing.
