Hannah & Dan
Their Story
Set within the garden inspired setting of Hillbrook, Hannah and Dan’s wedding unfolded as a romantic and elegant celebration layered with soft pastels and an unmistakable sense of warmth. Gentle shades of blush, lavender, pale blue, soft yellow, and fresh green created a palette that felt joyful, while slate blue accents grounded the design with a classic touch.
Florals played a leading role throughout the day, lush and abundant. Garden roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus, peonies, and delicate textural blooms were woven together to create arrangements that felt as though they had grown naturally in place. This love for garden settings was deeply personal. Though the couple lives in Columbus, some of their most meaningful photos were taken in Dan’s parents’ award winning garden in Chagrin Falls, a space that shaped their appreciation for cozy, floral filled environments and ultimately drew them to Hillbrook.
Personal details were thoughtfully layered into the experience. Guests were first welcomed by an invitation suite featuring a custom hand drawn illustration of the venue, offering a glimpse of what was to come. During cocktail hour, rented bookshelves displayed champagne alongside a cozy seating vignette, inviting guests to linger and connect. The escort card display became a design moment of its own, with florals and greenery tucked between cards and wax seals that not only complemented the pastel palette but subtly coordinated with each guest’s meal selection.
As the evening unfolded, the celebration shifted effortlessly from refined to playful. Hannah re entered the reception in a chic party dress, surprising guests as the band played and the dance floor filled with energy. It was a moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the day elegant yet relaxed, romantic yet joyful.
With its blend of colorful pastels, garden inspired florals, and intentional personal touches, Hannah and Dan’s wedding felt timeless and welcoming, a celebration rooted in beauty, comfort, and genuine connection.
