Wedding Story
Here is what the even designer had to say: “I had the pleasure of working with Melissa, who threw this very thoughtful shower for the bride-to-be, Lindsay. While chatting with the sweet maid of honor about Miss Lindsay, I realized our love for many of the same things was a match made in heaven. Pink, polka dots and anything stylish…I instantly thought of Kate Spade! A champagne bar was a top priority on the design list. Covering the bottles in glitter was the way to add a bit of sparkle to this already dazzling day. Essie polish is everyone’s favorite guilty pleasure so we chose an array of colors for the girls to choose from, with the most adorable, itty bity, personalized tags. We tied each guest’s napkins into a bow because nothing screams Kate Spade like a pretty bow. We also made sure Lindsay had all her favorite foods on the menu for the afternoon including, sushi, Panera mac and cheese, and Caesar salad.”
“The guests played a few games including “Whose Facebook post, Lindsay or Bill?” This was a favorite among the guests. And what event would be complete without it’s own hashtag? Putting it on the back of the envelope of the invite and a framed sign at the party encouraged the girls to document the day with #lovelylinds.
Towards the end of the shower, the ladies all traveled to a nearby park with the photographer for a super cute photo shoot. Lindsay was able to get photos with all of her girlfriends, her bridal party and some solo shots with our massive, tasseled, polka dot balloons.
Finally, everyone released the balloons to celebrate Lindsay’s final days of being a single lady!
