Remarks from the photographer: “The bride and groom have a sweet love story. No seriously – they met through mutual friends at the Fluff Festival in Somerville. They even named a signature drink, Pink Fluff, after that fortuitous meeting. They went out on a couple of dates afterward and have been together ever since.
“The bride said she wasn’t into planning all of the small details, but their wedding ended up brimming with beautiful and thoughtful elements that made their day special. The dusky pink color and pastel color scheme and the gorgeous floral arrangements by The Celebrated Flower enhanced the romance of a day that was already dripping in love. Each aspect of the day incorporated simple yet stunning touches and details. She carried an antique handkerchief that was a family heirloom as her something blue. The groom had unique cuff links created for each of groomsmen that represented something special about them as individuals. The ceremony was framed in lovely pastel ribbons that blew softly in the breeze. Then there were the lovely laced-wrapped candles, painted bottles, and other DIY elements that seamlessly tied their day together and enhanced the elegance of the Commander’s Mansion. The musical styling of their live band (The Hub) kept the dance floor packed throughout the evening as well.
