Farm Wedding with Sunflowers in Colorado
Today’s sweet farm wedding with sunflowers was sent to us by Imthiaz Houseman. It’s full of great details that are completely approachable and doable. We love the bright yellow flower colors used in the bouquets. The lovely reception was held at Brooke’s family barn in Colorado.
Imthiaz said: “Brooke and Seth knew what they wanted for their day and they made it happen. They made their wedding day a family affair because they always put family first. It was laid back and stress free!”
This ringshot is special because Brooke and Seth both wear rings passed down from family members. Seth’s is from his father, who passed away when Seth was ten, and Brooke’s is from her grandmother, who passed away a few years ago.
Since family is so important to Brooke and Seth, they made sure to include their family by pinning up pictures from every generation to decorate the gift table.
The food sounds absolutely delicious. The guests enjoyed ice cream bars, cornbread, and chili from Rainbow Restaurant in Northern Colorado.
The centerpieces were mason jars filled with sunflowers and wheat and tied with raffia, done by Palmers Flowers and Decorating.
Since Seth is a beekeeper, Brooke and Seth gave out little jars of honey as favors.
Brooke and Seth started off their married life with a rainbow! How special is that?
Thank you to Adam and Imthiaz for sharing their photography!
Meredith
Despite her dreamy wedding blogger lifestyle, Meredith's day job is running ClassicVeils.com and a full-time mom to an active toddler. If she could, Meredith would spend her days taking cruises, helping animals in need, and watching Big Brother!
I pretty much just fell in love with that dress. The end. Wow. Swoon.
I love her dress and hair with this rustic wedding!
I totally underestimated the button molds!!! Now I have to have them. What I will do with them I don’t know. But I want them.
I love that the gift table was decorated with family generational photos- how cool. Great wedding photos!
Thank you ladies for the feature, it looks amazing! 🙂
I love her dress. And the photo of couple looking out over the field with the rainbow in the sky is breathtaking. What a great shot.
They look so chc. The flowers are effortlessly gorgeous, and, I love the way they weaved the legacy pieces into their overall aesthetic.
