Orchestrated wedding photos are important, but it’s the candid images that capture the essence of the event and tell your unique story. The rawness of these fleeting, unguarded moments evokes emotions because they provide us with glimpses of real feelings within.
To ensure you have your in-the-moment happenings documented on your big day, emphasize to your photographer that you want a good part of your wedding photos to be about your spontaneous moments. Provide them with a list of candid must-captures so they can be more prepared and on their toes to watch out for these scenes and get perfectly timed shots of them.
Here are some of these special moments that deserve to be captured and framed.
The First Glimpse
This has to be captured by two photographers, simultaneously clicking the reactions of both bride and groom as they see each other for the first time at the wedding. This moment traditionally happens on the aisle as the bride appears on the scene and walks down to meet the groom.
This is a highly emotional moment. With the right click, you can capture the couple’s expressions of joy, awe, happy tears, or even those gasps of admiration for each other.
These moments encompass the hope and love they carry in their hearts as they begin their new life together.
The Couple’s Quiet Gazes and Gestures
Many a time, it’s the small gestures that speak volumes about the love shared by the couple. The gentle hand on the back, the sweet stares, quiet smiles, and other unguarded moments are a beautiful testament to their joy in each other.
These precious scenes should be observed and captured as they make the heart melt. After all, this is what they will look back to when the adrenaline of the busy, hectic wedding day is done — unfiltered love.
Family’s Reactions
Capturing a dad in his most emotional state as he leads his daughter towards the waiting groom is just priceless. Or a mom smiling with tears as her son makes his vows highlights deep love and joy within the family.
These are the moments snapped in photos worth revisiting as the years pass.
Expressions During the Dances
The couple’s dances as a husband and wife during the reception are a graceful expression of a union worth celebrating. It would be great to get snaps of their smiles and laughter as they waltz away or do their happy dance together – being silly, romantic, or sexy.
Reactions During Speeches
Speeches can be heartwarming, profound, or just downright straight out of a comic sketch. It would be great to capture the reactions of the couple, their parents and families, and the guests as the speeches are made.
Kid Moments
Kids are great subjects for candid shots because they are always unfiltered with their actions, almost begging to be captured with their funniest and silliest antics.
Kids showing wide-eyed wonder at the giant wedding cake, closing their eyes during the couple’s kiss, or putting the icing on their cheeks are some moments just too cute not to include in the wedding’s unguarded highlights.
Moments Frozen in Time
Couples may also ask a few of their close guests to capture moments as they happen, filling in for what the photographers may miss. For the couple, the key is to simply be in the moment and allow their real emotions to tell their wedding story.
A good tip for photographers is to allow themselves to immerse in the flow and feel of the wedding so they can anticipate candid moments and capture them. They should be a fly-on-the-wall observer whose mission is to quietly take snaps and tell a story of love and commitment happening around them, preserving precious moments one shot at a time.
The words ‘Italian Wedding Soup’ probably conjure images of something heartwarming, rustic, and robust. A soup that evokes a sense of timelessness and happy celebrations.
While the Italian wedding soup we are talking of is many of these things and definitely served up at celebrations of all kinds, it’s not really, in the strictest sense, a soup just for weddings.
The ‘wedding’ part of this hearty Mediterranean soup has more to do with flavors than actual matrimony.
This time-honored soup traces its name back to the Italian phrase “minestra maritata,” which means union or marriage of flavors. Like most Italian soups, this savory comfort food was originally a recipe of peasants in old Southern Italy.
Due to a lack of resources, they had to use their creativity and resourcefulness to make a soup that could not only be made with simple, easily available ingredients but also one that was hearty and filling.
The result?
A fragrant and delicious symphony of flavors that infused meat and vegetables in a savory broth made with love and enjoyed the world over today.
Aromatic and Romantic Italian Style
There is just something about this Italian Wedding Soup recipe’s origins and flavor profile that draws people to its taste and tradition. Because of its popularity, this soup has also become a well-loved heritage dish in Spain and even the United States.
Are you feeling out of sorts? A sip of this soup can help lift your spirit with warmth and tenderness. In a festive mood? This soup rises to the occasion with its burst of refreshing flavors. There is always a reason to have it, and the best thing is you can whip it up in minutes (stock pre-prepared) and enjoy a complete meal in one bowl.
It’s great for family meals or as a warming meal for chilly afternoons, random dinner dates at home, wind-down weekends and, yes, also a rustic wedding banquet.
The Ingredients
Meat and vegetables are the highlights of this soup, like a match made in heaven that brings balance, nourishment, comfort, and flavors. Traditionally, the meat component is tiny meatballs made of ground pork or beef, or both, parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and Italian herbs.
For the vegetables, dark leafy greens like spinach, escarole, kale, lettuce, or cabbage are used. The marriage of these two flavors happens in the pork or chicken broth, which is made even more robust by seasonings like salt, onion, garlic, and a medley of herbs, giving it more depth of flavor.
The Cooking Process
It may look like a lot of work, but with the broth prepared beforehand, you can cook this Italian Wedding soup recipe in minutes.
First, prepare the meatballs by mixing together the ground meat, grated parmesan, bread crumbs, and your choice of seasoning and herbs. Set aside.
Next, saute onion and garlic in olive oil. Pour in the broth and allow the aromatics to work as their flavors infuse the liquid. Simmer and season with salt, pepper, and your choice of herbs like celery and parsley.
Then add in the meatballs and let them simmer in the broth until cooked. At this point, you may add bite-size pasta like acini de pepe, thin noodles, risoni, or even rice or couscous for added texture.
Then, stir in the greens for added flavor, color, and nutrition, completing the merry blend.
Lastly, serve hot and sprinkle some chopped parsley and parmesan on top.
If you need to make this soup quickly, you may use store-bought broth and substitute the meatballs with sliced sausage or chicken shreds.
A Nourishing and Comforting Blend
Not only is this clear-broth soup tasty and homey, it is also packed with nutrition. Like a typical Mediterranean recipe, it is loaded with plant-based ingredients, healthy fats, and proteins.
It helps promote cardiovascular health, longevity, weight management, blood sugar control, anti-inflammatory benefits, digestive health, and brain health. Just ensure not to go overboard with your seasoning and exclude any potential allergy triggers.
It’s a complete meal as it has meat, vegetables, herbs, healthy fats, and carbohydrates, giving your body a balanced nutrition and full-bodied flavor with various aromatic notes.
A Celebration of Life’s Milestones and Everyday Moments
Because it’s easy to make and does not require pro-level culinary skills, you can serve this soup to your loved ones any day. It’s a lovely way to enjoy life’s simple pleasures and festivities.
It reminds us that a satisfying life does not necessarily come from expensive things but from those that warm the heart, create lasting memories, support your wellness, and make you smile!
And so may your marriage, or your life as an unmarried individual, be as delightful, comforting, and nourishing to your heart, mind, and body as the Italian Wedding Soup. Mangia bene.
The months leading up to your wedding can be one of the most stressful periods in your life. The stress and busyness can take a toll on your physical, mental, and even emotional well-being. We have heard of brides and grooms getting ill or feeling like a wreck days before their wedding, and there’s nothing sadder than being less than your best on your big day.
To counter this, you should incorporate these pre-wedding wellness habits into your daily routine to boost your health and happiness at your wedding.
Get Enough Sleep
Sure, there may be a ton of things to do — wedding preparations as well as keeping up with your hectic work schedule — but sleep deficiency can cause your health to suffer. You may feel physical weakness, drowsiness, a lack of mental focus, memory lapses, weaker immunity, increased risk of depression, increased risk of cardiovascular issues, mood swings, and even raccoon eyes.
So, schedule your activities and stick to them. Learn to delegate and don’t try to do it all. You wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle feeling so out of it and looking like a zombie without the zzzzzzz’s.
Stay Hydrated
Don’t forget to stay hydrated as you run around. Being hyped up and doing errands can reduce your electrolytes, so you’ll you need to increase your water intake. Otherwise, you’ll start feeling sluggish and prone to various body aches.
Relax in Natural Settings
Take a break from time to time and escape into the calming embrace of nature. Go for a quiet walk along the beach, walk barefoot on your lawn, soak up some morning sun, or do some gardening. Immerse in nature’s sights, sounds, and scents to ground yourself and bring you back to your balance.
Regular spa treatments and massages using nature-derived oils and ingredients can also help you relax and rejuvenate holistically.
Eat Mindfully
Some brides and grooms resort to stress eating to ‘replenish’ their energy. This may cause issues in your body – from blood pressure and sugar spikes to infections and weight problems.
Make a conscious effort to eat healthy foods like leafy greens, lean meat, nuts, fruits, and other fiber-rich and antioxidant-rich foods to fight off oxidative stress, boost your immunity, promote organ health, skin health, brain health, and strengthen your joints and muscles.
Protect Your Skin
With all the things you need to do – from checking with the atelier for fittings to food and wine tastings, you cannot completely avoid being out in the sun. The fix is to slather on sunscreen, put on your oversized sunnies, and wear enough covering, like long-sleeved shirts and pants.
Meditate and Pray
Clear out your headspace of wedding worries by meditating, even if it is just for a few minutes each day. Give your spiritual wellness a boost by eliminating distractions and prioritizing mental clarity, relaxation, and a sense of awareness.
Do breathing exercises, stay connected to the greater power, and practice gratefulness.
Sneak in a Fitness Workout
A full-hour workout may be hard to squeeze into your schedule, but a quick 15-minute daily exercise routine can give your health a puboost. Bridal Fitness Trainer and Health Coach Stephanie Thomas recommends having a commitment to fitness, “Setting the same day and time to do your bridal workout will make it seem so much less of an obstacle.”
Speak with a Friend
Having a social connection can help you unload some of the weight of wedding preparations. So, go out with your best friend, engage in meaningful conversations, and take your focus off yourself for a few hours. Socializing help improve your oxytocin levels, making you feel better and happier.
Laugh Heartily
Speaking of happiness, laughter releases endorphins that help ease tension and pain in your body and reduce stress and anxiety.
Psychotherapist and Stress Management Coach Dr. Stan Hyman provides some tips to help you laugh more – smile often, listen to funny people, don’t take yourself too seriously, and try saying something funny about any subject you like.
Go on Date Nights
It may be a nerve-racking period for you as a couple, but nurturing your connection despite the busyness is essential for your wellness, wedding, and would-be life together. Share your thoughts, support each other, have fun, and keep your love alive through little date nights, movie nights, words of encouragement, and sweet nothings.
Final Thoughts
It is crucial for soon-to-be-married couples to take care of their mind, body, and spirit before the big day. Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event and being healthy is one of the best gifts you could give each other as you begin your journey as husband and wife.
Thinking of wedding gift ideas that promote sustainability and earth wellness? Whether you want to spread your advocacy or simply go with the wedding’s theme, here are some eco-friendly wedding gifts that show love for the planet, and the couple!
Green-Certified Linens
Cozy and conscious come together in this gift idea. Go for Green-certified/GGOTS-certified (Global Organic Textile Standards) linens made with ethically sourced organic fiber.
Linens certified to be eco-friendly have no harmful substances used in their manufacturing, and the materials are sourced ethically – no human, animal, or environment was harmed.
Ceramic Home Decor
Ceramics are made from renewable resources like clay or sand and help reduce the depletion of our natural resources. They are also easy to maintain, which means they don’t require cleaning materials made of chemicals to stay in good shape – less tarnish, less toxicity.
Cheese Board Made of Reclaimed Wood
Check for stores that sell products made with reclaimed wood. A solid, rustic cheeseboard makes the perfect gift that the happy couple can use for romantic wine and cheese nights.
Hand-Woven Baskets
Handcrafted baskets made with sustainably-sourced palm or hemp can serve multiple purposes like an organizer bin, storage, or decor piece. Another good reason to give this as a wedding present is that it supports artisans whose craft has been passed down for generations.
Organic Area Rug
Area rugs make living spaces more cozy and cohesive. Check out those made with organic fabric like cotton or wool and with prints created using natural dyes.
Solar-Powered Outdoor Lights
This may sound like a boring gift, but it’s so practical and sustainable that couples will appreciate its value. These outdoor lights will not only help them save on their utility bills but will also help add more light and layers of safety to their home.
Soy Candles
Candles set the mood for romance at home, and if you want to send the planet some love, too, then a soy candle is a good option. Unlike conventional paraffin wax candles, soy candles are sourced from soybeans, a renewable resource. The candles are also biodegradable, much less toxic, vegan-friendly, easy to clean, and slow-burning.
Indoor Plants
Help the couple bring some green into their home with beautifully potted indoor plants. They not only help purify the air but also elevate the interiors’ aesthetics with a refreshing and earthy vibe.
Upcycled Art Pieces
Art pieces that use recycled materials like wall decor, sculptures, and furniture not only promote sustainability but also artistry. Consciousness and creativity in the form of upcycled art make a uniquely beautiful and meaningful gift.
Pajama Sets
You may also give the couple pajama sets made with GOTS-certified locally grown cotton and colored using natural dyes. Choose ultra-soft fabric that makes snuggling a must at bedtime.
Green Gifting is Always In!
Eco-friendly wedding gifts speak volumes about the giver and the receiver’s heart. In the middle of all the wine toasts, speeches, wedding dances, and confetti, we take notice of the earth’s heartbeat as we celebrate a union of human hearts.
As we step into 2024, the wedding industry is already buzzing with excitement and creativity that blends timeless traditions with modern-day wedding aesthetics.
Couples getting married in 2024 are expected to redefine their celebrations by infusing everything from personal touches to innovative technology in order to make their special day memorable for years to come.
In this article, we will delve into some of the most anticipated wedding trends in 2024.
Less Structured Ceremony and Reception
Search terms like “non-traditional wedding dresses” and “anti-bride” are surging, signaling a trend unveiling — the out-of-the-box wedding style. Couples are increasingly veering away from traditions, trimming out any of the seemingly ‘stuffy’ elements of a traditional wedding.
Experts share that weddings in 2024 will prioritize comfort and ease for the guests. The ceremonies and receptions will have a more flowing, easygoing, and relaxed feel instead of the conventional order of affairs followed to the dot. Festivity and fun will trump formality, giving weddings a more approachable, inclusive, and intimate feel.
Entertainment, live bands, and LED videos will continue to infuse fun and spectacle into the event because giving everyone an unforgettable experience will be a top priority.
Family Style, Wellness-Focused Menu
The non-wedding wedding trend will extend to the food served during the wedding and in pre and post-parties. Instead of the formal multi-course dinner, the menu will lean more towards meaningful family recipes that remind the couple of the warmth of family dinners and get-togethers.
Couples will be incorporating farm-to-table menus to promote healthy and mindful eating. Local organic ingredients will be the highlight instead of the traditional fancy food that piles on the carbs. There’s also a move towards more personalized menus, so stations serving Thai food, pizza, or Mediterranean delights that they love will be part of the wedding food choices.
Dresses that Blend Tradition and Innovation
You will see more non-white wedding dresses – from pastels that celebrate demure femininity to black and bold colors that evoke ultra-modernism and rebellion. Oversized bows and embellishments that showcase the bride’s personality will still be in, along with bold statement accessories that will be essential parts of the dress.
Sexy and vintage will still be on trend, so expect more deep necklines and flattering silhouettes complemented by dramatic overskirts or even pants, giving old-world charm a modern vibe. There will still be a demand for neutral tones and layered and printed designs that give a sense of depth and texture to the dress.
Huge Impact Decor, Quiet Luxury
2024 is about colors, and experts like Fallon Carter of Fallon Carter Events agree. Expect a more vibrant and rich palette of wedding decor, from flowers to lighting and decor accents to enliven the venue and the vibe. The florals and botanicals can range from lush to minimalist, but the key is to keep them polished to perfection.
The strategy to maximize the impact of the decors is by juxtaposing it with empty space. We will be seeing more of this balance of visual elements through the complementary use of negative space as a trend this year.
To flow with the relaxing, easy feel of the event, there will be cozy lounges or bars for downtimes where guests can mingle in a more laid-back way.
A Toast to Meaningful Trends
It’s clear that weddings in 2024 will be all about prioritizing personalization and meaningful experiences. Whether it’s a destination wedding or laid-back country-style nuptials, there’s one thing all wedding trends in 2024 have in common — they promise to create moments that will resonate for a whole lifetime.
Each new year comes with an exciting anticipation of what’s new, fresh, and interesting. On the wedding front, we’ve rounded up some emerging venue styling trends influenced by high-profile celebrity weddings.
You can adapt one of these venue vibes to suit your personal style if you’re planning on tying the knot soon. The key is to stay authentic and make it a fun and fabulous experience for all.
Camp or Nature-Inspired
Think outdoors, campfires, smores, and just back-to-basics gatherings, but this time for a wedding. Many couples are focusing more on the experience than the embellishments, and so there is a growing preference towards laid-back, non-traditional settings over highly-curated formal venues.
If you love the outdoors and camps, you can take a page from celebrities Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert’s venue-styling playbook. The couple went this ‘nature-inspired’ route with their wedding in late 2023 in Meredith, Colorado. They had trees and verdant meadows as their backdrop, with just a few white flowers adorning their pathway along with some wooded seating to blend with the setting.
For your wedding, you can choose a nice little glen, a luxury lodge, or a campground with scenic vistas to serve as your backdrop. Personalize it with your favorite flowers, greens, organic elements, and camp essentials like bonfires, beanies, tents, and hammocks for a rustic, earthy atmosphere.
Western Aesthetic
You may also choose a Western-inspired wedding for a more back-country vibe like that of model Taylor Hill, who married British entrepreneur Daniel Fryer. The couple tied the knot in June of 2023 in Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Winter Park, Colorado.
If you want to give a nod to your Western roots, then a Western aesthetic is the perfect choice for your venue. Treat your guests to an expansive ranch scenery with horses to ride, and ask your guests to wear cowboy hats.
Feel free to walk down the aisle barefoot to ground yourself to the earth, too!
Heritage Venues
Regal and romantic, a heritage venue is not only aesthetically elegant but also highlights culture and arts. However, you don’t have to book the Palazzo Pisani Moretta like Anya Taylor Joy and Malcolm Mcrae did for their big day; your choice can be scaled-down but still swoon-worthy.
A heritage venue can be a very personal choice – like an old architectural gem in your small hometown where your great-grandparents first met or a historic hotel or site that also features stunning interiors. You can style the venue with gilded decors, lush blooms, and timeless pieces to match your vintage gown.
Vibrant Colors
2024 is about colors, and wedding venues are poised to make a lot of colors pop with panache! Weddings held in indoor spaces don’t have to look the same as the rest.
This wedding trend takes its cue from celebrity couples Kristin Chenoweth and Josh Bryant and Tyler Barnhardt and Adriana Schaps, who both had vibrant pink-themed weddings.
You may also play with multi-colored decors for your venue and go all-out disco or retro for that merry, fabulous vibe on your big day. Imagine the high-impact visuals in your photos and videos!
Sustainability-Focused Venues
Green weddings done by celebrities such as Natalie Portman and Anne Hathaway are still a 2024 trend shoo-in as a wedding venue style. For this theme, you can incorporate organic decors, sustainably sourced and made dresses, and of course, a wellness-focused menu.
Salad stations and Mediterranean food are imperative, plus earth-friendly decor like eucalyptus, ferns, or ivy as centerpieces for a fresh, organic vibe.
Style it Up with Love this 2024!
Whatever venue style you choose, keep it close to who you are and make it as cozy and visually impressive. Both low-key and loud have their own charm, so it’s up to you to own it and immerse in its authenticity as a true reflection of your love story.
Truth be told, if I could do it all over again I would totally opt for a raw diamond engagement ring. These stunning stones are a little rough around the edges (just like me) but when set in a beautiful, rustic ring, there is nothing more captivating.
Don’t get me wrong – I love the engagement ring and wedding band set I have. But my traditional sparkly white halo ring is a bit cookie-cutter, and if I’m honest, I love the unique flair of an unpolished rough stone. Plus, I like the idea of supporting a small jewelry business on Etsy rather than a large retail jewelry store, especially since there are probably thousands of other women who have the same engagement ring as I do since we shopped at a national chain.
I digress.
For nature lovers, alternative folks, or anyone who wants to reject the traditional aspects of matrimonial customs, a raw diamond engagement ring is definitely the way to go.
Should I Buy a Raw Diamond Engagement Ring?
Wondering whether a raw diamond is right for you?
(Hint: the answer is probably yes).
So what is a raw diamond, anyway? Think the exact opposite of those shiny, sparkly diamonds in the fancy ring case at the jewelry store. Raw diamonds are uncut, unpolished diamonds, mined from the earth and left unfinished. They evoke a sense of wild nature and edginess, but can also have a soft, feminine feel.
Raw diamonds are perfectly on-trend, looking equally dazzling on the fingers of boho beauties and hard rock hotties. Or anyone who is looking for something a little outside of the box, really. These eye-catching stones are guaranteed to be conversation starters, and they certainly won’t be mistaken for another “normal” diamond engagement ring from a jewelry store!
Not to mention, these rough diamonds are tough. Like, way tougher than other cut and polished gemstones. Whether finished beautifully like a round brilliant or left in the rough, diamonds are the most durable stones around, making them perfect for daily wear.
The only con in my mind is that rough diamonds don’t have the same sparkle as a beautifully cut diamond. You won’t see any “fire” or a rainbow of colors reflecting off of these gemstones, since they are often lower-quality and full of inclusions and natural flaws. But honestly, we all have our flaws – and that’s what makes us truly beautiful. Just like these raw diamonds. (Okay, I can feel you cringing, dear reader. Enough of that, I suppose. Moving on.)
Also, because these diamonds aren’t cut, they can’t be inspected or graded according to the 4 C’s (cut, color, clarity, carat) like most diamonds. This means that there is really no way to tell if you are getting a good deal or not, and your stone won’t come with any type of certificate. Up to you to determine whether that is a deal-breaker.
Some might also worry about the “trendiness” of raw diamonds – just because they are in fashion now doesn’t mean they will be forever. But honestly, if it suits your tastes now, I say go for it. Some people get tattoos they regret, and those are emblazoned upon their skin forever!
If you decide down the road that you really don’t love your ring anymore, you could always see about replacing the stone, or getting an anniversary ring. But in my mind, if you are the type of unique gal to pull off a rough diamond ring, I doubt you care too much about following the trends, anyway. You do you!
Our Favorite Raw Diamond Engagement Rings
Read on to learn more about these diamonds in the rough. Literally – that’s what they are! And here is a list of our favorite raw diamond engagement rings.
1. Twig and Leaf Raw Diamond Ring
Rings with leaf embellishments are featured quite a bit on L&L – and for good reason! They add a fun and whimsical tone to a more traditional polished band and are guaranteed to set the wearer apart from the rest.
This specific raw diamond ring from doronmerav is a particularly gorgeous piece, as the detailing shows an unbelievably high level of craftsmanship. The two-toned metal makes it look like it’s plucked straight from nature!
In a blend of feminine and rustic, this raw blue diamond ring is set with course cut prongs that eccentuate the raw finish of the diamond. The band is textured to match the prongs and the result is a ring that is one of a kind. / The blue diamond is conflict-free so you don’t have to worry about where it came from. And the color is sure to stand out!
This is the ring that initially got our attention and inspired us to take a deeper look into raw diamonds! While rough gemstones tend to have a wild edge about them, this piece is just as soft and sweet as your more traditional cut stone. The beautiful pink tone that reflects off of the rose-gold band actually makes it even more delicate and feminine.
You really have to do a double-take to see that this is actually a raw diamond! The white sapphires really make up for any polish or sparkle the center stone may lack, making it look like a precisely cut stone at first glance.
One other thing we particularly love about this pick is the ability to mix and match your stone and metal color! If your bride-to-be has an alternative streak, the black diamond may be exactly what you’re looking for!
Looking for something a bit more dainty? Maybe try the white diamond with a white or rose gold band. Either way, you’ll be able to make sure it is absolutely perfect for her!
If you look at this ring and are unsure about whether or not your partner will like it, then maybe don’t take the risk. However, if you saw this and immediately thought of her strength, confidence, and overall badassery, then there is truly no other ring for her! It’s edgy, it’s rustic, and it’s completely unlike anything she’s seen before. What’s not to love?
Why I like it:
Vintage vibes
Simple and elegant
Also available in sterling silver, yellow gold, or rose gold
Surrounded by a halo of sparkling sapphires, this ring by GoldandSilverCo is really letting this raw diamond have its moment!
Not allowing itself to be outdone by its shiny neighbors, this rough stone is perfectly juxtaposed by the traditional clean-cut setting. We especially love the black diamond option, as it somehow looks even more sophisticated and expensive.
Pick the right salt and pepper diamond and then watch yourself get lost in all of that speckled detail! There a number of different diamonds to choose from and you can choose from 6 different kinds of bands, which means you’ll get to customize this unique ring for your fiance to be!
This pick by MothandFlameJewelry looks like it’s come straight out of a fairytale! While you can also choose this design in gold or silver, the copper band in particular makes this ring look like it was plucked directly from the earth, making it a perfect pick for your boho queen.
While the main gemstone is actually smoky quartz, it is accented with raw diamonds which adds a perfectly rustic touch.
Why I like it:
Solitaire diamond is classic and elegant
Choose your diamond and band for a truly custom option
Tablet cut is specific to this retailer (aka super unique!)
Without a doubt the daintiest ring on this list, this delicate solitaire by BluWaterJewels proves that great things come in little packages. This is truly a timeless piece that happens to be right on-trend. While other unique styles and settings may come and go, this raw diamond ring has staying power.
How precious is this soft shade of blue!? This sweet hue juxtaposed against the asymmetrical accents and the twig-like textured band makes this a perfect pick for the woman who loves reinventing herself and her wardrobe.
Whether she’s in an alternative mood and feels like rocking ripped jeans and a leather jacket or decides on that floral country-inspired sundress, this ring is going to be the perfect addition!
Putting an alternative twist on a feminine design, this rustic, double band ring by eMerakiStudio is truly one-of-a-kind! The center stone is actually a raw brown diamond but the warm-toned band brings out red undertones to create quite a feminine aesthetic.
And just take a look at that double band! We have never seen this feature on an engagement before but are now completely obsessed with it. This is a ring fit for the future!
If you’re looking for a diamond with just a hint of color, this ring is absolutely beautiful. The aquamarine color gives just the right amount of dimension to separate this ring from a typical engagement ring. The raw stones ensure each ring is unique. Plus, you can choose to get a matching wedding band as a set.
The contrast of textures makes this ring pop. A raw diamond is paired with a pearl for a bit of rough and smooth. The raw diamond can be personalized by choosing the size and color, but I think the black next to the pearl is particularly jaw-dropping. This ring is made-to-order, so customizations are welcome.
Offering a more classic spin on a raw diamond, this gorgeous ring features a hexagon salt and pepper diamond with natural side stones. Sophisticated and unique, this ring is a showstopper.
