Amy and Dusty’s Wedding
Before you all dig into the delicious turkey and pumpkin pie check out this budget, apple themed wedding.
Comments from the Bride: “Our budget ended up being a lot cheaper than we had expected on account that so many of our family members and friends graciously helped with expenses. We made everything we were capable of making and purchased the things we were incapable of making at as cheap of a rate as possible. It works out well that Dusty is a graphic design major, and I am a Pinterest fanatic.”
“My sister-in-law and brother really helped out a TON, too. They chopped up the wood that made our centerpieces, she baked our cakes and helped in arranging our decor, while he prepared all of our food. The apples used for our centerpieces were purchased in bulk from Walmart, and the flower arrangements on the tables were merely the bridesmaids’ bouquets. All of the food and drinks served at the wedding were purchased in bulk from Costco.”
“I held a crafting party a few weeks beforehand where bridesmaids and friends came over to eat snacks, hang out, and help us create many of our decorations. The party was super fun and not only served as great bonding time but also a means of relieving a tremendous amount of stress!”
We LOVE their cake topper—it’s so cute!!

Hi, My fiance loves Dusty’s vest… any chance you remember where it is from?
Such a personal wedding – Amy looks very happy to be with him. I love seeing such a cute couple at the altar.
It’s wonderful how they held a “crafting party” for their wedding decorations! Now, that’s what you call love and support!
Delightful from start to end…they even made the topper look as real possible with the couple as I notice the bride is with a lace dress.
Whoo!! Thanks so much for featuring this! I know Amy will be SO excited!
This is beautiful! I love their cake topper too, and the centerpieces!
