2 weeks agoI cannot recommend this business given their ongoing disregard for neighbouring residents and the impact on those living nearby. I live directly above Ambrosia Banquet & Events, and due to the persistent and ongoing noise I no longer feel comfortable in my own home. The music and bass are regularly loud enough to rattle cupboards in my unit on the 5th floor. Events and amplified music often begin as early as 6:00 p.m. and frequently continue past midnight, including on weekdays and during holidays. Most recently, I was woken up at 2:30 a.m. on a Tuesday by loud, concert-level music and bass from an event. This is not an isolated incident, but part of an ongoing pattern. Despite repeated complaints, nothing has changed. When I raised concerns with the owner, I was told: “What do you expect, you live in below-market housing, therefore you should compromise.” Under BC’s Residential Tenancy Act, tenants have the right to quiet enjoyment. Ambrosia continues to disregard this basic neighbourly respect and responsibility.

a month agoWe had our wedding here this past weekend. Everyting was wonderful. They really made us feel we were taken care of. Location is central with lots of cheap parking across the street. Food was great with lots of variety. The hall was large enough for our 130 person party. Decorations were breathtaking. They even have a perfect location if you choose to have a photo booth. Highly recommended if you want a place with a central location.
