Real Wedding: Blue and Yellow Wedding
Blue and yellow wedding details, and some birds! That is what I noticed first when I saw Rich and Gia’s amazing wedding pictures. From yellow shoes and flowers to blue bottles and DIY napkins, this wedding from Ohio is special!
Here is what Gia said about her special day: “My parents had very few requests of us, my dad wanted my mom to be happy and my mom wanted good food. All I could think about was the atmosphere, I wanted it to be intimate and secluded; I wanted it to be a comfortable and homey vibe that would allow my friends and family to meet the man of my dreams complete with a dreamy accent! The Darby House is an enchanting venue, located on The Galbreath estate just outside of Downtown Columbus. And it was the perfect place for us, the best catering in Columbus, outdoor ceremony and indoor homey feel, plus World Series trophies for my dad to admire and a letter from the Queen thanking Mr. Galbreath for sending her horses!
“I did all of the graphic design for the invitations, menus and cookie take-away bags. We also made all the flower arrangements, table runners, bunting, napkin rings, table centrepieces, mason jars and cake toppers. (It would not have been possible without Pinterest!) I must say that another DIY hit of the wedding was the tradition of the Italian cookie table, all my aunts and cousins made dozens upon dozens of cookies to display at our wedding. Each project brought the wedding to life and made the day special and personal.”

Despite her dreamy wedding blogger lifestyle, Meredith's day job is running ClassicVeils.com and a full-time mom to an active toddler. If she could, Meredith would spend her days taking cruises, helping animals in need, and watching Big Brother!
