Your parents want the best for you. So when occasions like Christmas roll around, it’s a great time to show them they’re the best too!

Christmas Gift Ideas for Parents
1) Custom House Portrait Art
by Minted
Every home is special, and the one you spent many years in as a family is more special than most. Whether your parents are still living in the place you grew up in or they’ve moved on, a custom portrait of that home is a beautiful reminder of an important time.
Tip: Make sure you have good quality photos for the artist to work from.
2) Wine Club Subscription
by Vinebox
My family has always enjoyed trying out new wines. I remember growing up, Christmas dinner was the only occassion that my parents would allow us kids to have a small glass of wine! Of course, I never really drank the glass because I thought it tasted aweful as a 10 year old. Different story nowadays, as vino is my go to drink of choice.
You can’t go too wrong with a wine club subscription. I’m guessing this gift is a top choice for many parents when you ask, “What do you want for Christma this year!?”
3) Facebook Portal
We recently bought this to test it out as a product demo, and I have to say, it is a very handy gift!
We are still figuring out all the nuances, but do really like the voice activation feature. Also, no longer do you have to hold a mobile phone for hours on end to see the grandkids. The 24 inch screen displays a high resolution image. Whatsmore, the “spotlight” feature works pretty well when you want to still move around but have the camera focussed on just one person.
4) Your Drawing as an Art Print
by Minted
When it comes to art as a Christmas gift for your parents, we bet they will prefer your drawings over anyone else!
That’s what makes this gift such a lovely idea. If you have even half an art bone in your body, make something brand new now. If not, choose a picture you created when you were younger for some kitsch charm.
5) Ring Video Doorbell
by No products found.
No products found.A great gift for parents who have a little bit of tech know how. The ring video doorbell syncs up with any Amazon-Alexa enabled products so that your parents can see and hear who’s at the door.
If they are anything like my parents, that means see who is at the door ‘without having to get up from their easy chair’!
6) Personalized Calendar
by Minted
Calendars are always a handy present at this time of year. For 2021, make the gift extra special by filling it with personalized pictures. How about a trip you all took together, or a selection of sweet snaps of the grandkids?

12) Weighted Blanket
by Baloo
First of all, YES these blankets are heavy at a whopping 20lbs.
I recieved my weighted blanket last week, and my husband thought the parcel was a new piece of workout equipment! I have been testing it out nightly and can honestly say that I HAVE BEEN SLEEPING BETTER!
I don’t know if that is because:
- The comforter I had before may have been too hot
- The fact that I enjoy the weight of the blanket
- An extra blanket on the bed means my husband and I no longer fight over one duvet cover!
In any case, I think this is the type of product you really have to try for yourself to determine if you too like the weight and can possibly get a better night’s sleep.
