Colorful Backyard Wedding with Bright Colors
Are you all ready to start your Labor Day weekend off with a bang? Laura and Alen had a stunning backyard wedding with bright colors, paper flowers, and tons of fun! I wanted to put up every single photo of their day, but sadly I can’t.
Here is what Laura said about her day: “We wanted a wedding that was small, colorful, personal, fun, and at our house. So, everything we picked, from the officiant to the confetti was picked to make our day warm and happy. That’s it, actually.”
“One of the most memorable moments from that day for both of us was when I lost my wedding ring! Let me start from the beginning. At the rehearsal dinner we decided that instead of having a ring bearer, we would instead just carry each other’s rings down the aisle. Before we took some couples pictures, I put my wedding band on my pinky finger (where it doesn’t even fit) in hopes that I would remember to give it to him right away, so I wouldn’t forget later!
“So, off we go, out taking pictures with the photographer in the neighborhood in a couple different locations. Pretty soon I notice that the ring isn’t there anymore. I looked up at Alen and said, “I think I lost the wedding band…”
“We tried thinking of all the places that it could be. The photographer and videographer were both looking through their pictures/video and we narrowed down the rings location (we’ve gone back to the house at this point). I thought maybe we could just get a metal detector to find it after we come back from our honeymoon, but several people went out to search for it, and our groomsman Stephen found it!”
Love the animal hangers they used for their attire.
Giant paper flowers are so cute—and budget friendly!
