Today’s sweet wedding comes from talented photographer Kate Harrison. Deena and Joe were married at Nestldown, a beautiful venue nestled in the California redwoods. They infused tons of charming details into their rustic DIY wedding–and we were so impressed to learn that they planned it all from the UK!

PinWe are totally smitten with these programs!

PinThe escort cards were super cute! Watercolor floral prints were pinned onto a clothesline, indicating the table assignments.

PinThe table decor was rustic perfection, with mossy birdhouses atop rounds of wood, mason jars filled with pinecones and flowers, and blue vintage drawers (from a flea market) filled with moss and chalkboard table markers.

PinInstead of expensive favors, Deena and Joe made a donation to the Institute of Cancer Research. They also gave out lucky pennies that they painted pink. In one drawer were US pennies and in the other, pennies from the UK (Joe’s home country). Such a clever idea!

PinThe cupcake table was so lovely, topped off with an adorable cake topper by UK illustrator Del Thorpe!
PinThanks to Kate for letting us feature her photography!
