I know winter is right around the corner—to be honest it feels like winter has already hit here in Seattle–brrr! But I could not resist sharing this amazing fall backyard wedding! It is so full of fun details, loads of pumpkins and some really yummy looking treats! I love how creative Katie got with all her decor and OMG she looks so beautiful in her dress with her hair in a floral crown! From Katie: “The fact that Autumn is my favorite season of the year played a large part in the planning of the wedding. We were engaged on our 2nd anniversary, which is in August, and I thought that a late August wedding in Florida would be atrocious. So, naturally the love of fall, and the cooler temperatures helped to create the theme of the wedding. Using a warm and rich color scheme, our wedding was designed around the glory of Autumn. Incorporating tons of little details as well as handmade decor, led to a rustic, yet classic wedding. Neither Jon, or I are very traditional, but we did incorporate some of those traditional elements into the ceremony and wedding reception. The main idea of the wedding was to give back to our guests, to show them just how much we love and care for them.”Gallery
