I love starting the week off with an amazing wedding and this week I get to do just that. This wedding is all around stunning. Everything from her florals to the reception decor and venue are jaw-dropping gorgeous.

Here is what Anna said about her day:  “We really wanted it to have a casual, country feel.  We also wanted a venue that our close friends and family could stay at before the wedding and that felt like our own little oasis away from our everyday life.  I love natural decorations and colors and  details like burlap, wild flowers, old books etc.  just fit in with the naturally beautiful setting and rustic farmhouse.  We wanted the party to be small enough that we could visit with everyone and have all of our favorite friends and family together which includes our dogs!”

“Our ceremony was very personalized and really special.  An old family friend of my husband’s family performed the ceremony and it was humorous, sentimental and non-denominational.  We wrote our own vows and started by sharing “reasons I love you” then went in to our actual vows.  We also had someone from each of our families do a reading of their choice so his Grandmother read a poem and my God Mother read a Jewish blessing.  It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.”

“The reception was outdoors and the weather was perfect!  Everyone started the cocktail hour in the farmhouse which was not planned but the house is so spectacular people naturally gravitated to it.  Then we had dinner outside and the sunset behind the mountains was absolutely stunning.  The dinner was a casual BBQ style buffet and the food was incredible.  Then we had dancing and great music and a dessert bar including a cake for the doggies of honor!”

Advice for future Brides

“Create a binder right away!  I had a binder with a copy of every single contract and I kept a running to-do list on the front.  It really helped me stay organized and it came in handy the night of the reception when one of the contracts came in to question.”

Simply stunning and so unique! It was cool how they combined both families religions, but made the ceremony non-denominational, brilliant! Also loved the dog cake topper, it was so very personal to them!
