We’ve seen a lot of different props in engagement sessions and weddings, but Chris and Heidi pretty much take the cake! They had an airplane at their wedding! These photos, by Carl Zoch, are all so amazing.
The wedding venue was the Wiley Post Airport in Oklahoma City.
The composition of the photo above is simply amazing.
Aviator sunglasses were a perfect accessory!
We love that bouquet, and the bright and cheerful paper lanterns decorating the ceremony space below.
Instead of throwing rice or blowing bubbles, the guests threw little airplanes at the bride and groom as they made their way back down the aisle–tying in perfectly with their aviation themed wedding.
And the best part is, Chris and Heidi’s getaway vehicle was the airplane!! How awesome is that?

June 11, 2010 at 9:58 pmI was at Heidi & Chris wedding – they are both very creative and fun-loving people and their wedding was so great – no one left early they were having so much fun – the aviation theme was carried out from the save the date cards which were made to look like airline tickets through the paper airplanes thrown rather than bubbles and it was awesome.
