From the Photographer:
Katelyn and Nate are one of the sweetest couples you can imagine, and this styled shoot’s creators, Amanda and Heather, definitely saw something special in them when planning for this Christmas styled shoot. Â The shoot took place at one of the most gorgeous Christmas venues in northern Maryland, the Liriodendron Mansion.
“One of my favorite parts about this shoot was the bride’s gorgeous dress from Francesca’s. Â It sparkled in the light when Katelyn twirled, and it had an effortless beauty to it that is really hard to find. Â Katelyn’s sister Alyssa was cast in the role of bridesmaid to the happy couple (recently married in real life), and the natural chemistry that she and Katelyn have is truly wonderful to photograph!
“More and more of my couples are turning to December with hopes of adding a little Christmas magic to what is already such a special day in their lives. We hope this trend continues, and we look forward to photographing more holiday celebrations in the future!”
From the Bride:
“We actually met when we were 10 years old. We were both homeschooled by our moms and did classes together and then ended up going to the same high school as best friends. I was always smitten over him and knew I wanted to marry him!
“Our senior year of high school on a trip in the Dominican Republic, we sat under the stars and talked about life and love. We both talked of big dreams for the future to travel and become speakers, and change the world for the better. That night we talked for hours and I knew I wanted this forever. In March we decided we would date and it was so awesome to have my best friend as my boyfriend. We dated for 3 years in college and our the summer after junior year we got married. It was the best day of my life! He’s been my best friend from the beginning and every day I fall a little more in love with him.”
