- Sometimes the weather doesn’t always cooperate. When it rains on your big day, make sure you’re prepared with some photo worthy and weather ready umbrellas.
- A large white wedding frame makes a great canvas to capture guest signatures and well wishes. Add it to your possible list of ideas for alternative guest books!

Courtney & Ben
Their Story
Photographer’s Comments: “Courtney and Ben’s paths crossed over the years but it wasn’t until 2015 when they reconnected and found out that they had similar interests. They spent the next few years spending time with each other, exploring Richmond and even hiking the Shenandoah Valley together, and now they are married! “They planned the perfect wedding with soft colors, beautiful bouquets, and a historic venue that dates back to the early 1700s. “Courtney wore a gorgeous gown, perfect for an outdoor wedding. Her bridesmaids were by her side the entire day, celebrating and even crying while they watched her add her final touches to her bridal look to say her I do’s! “Ben and his groomsmen wore classic blue suits with spring colored ties and had us laughing the entire day! “Their ceremony was outside on the lawn of the historic Hanover Court House, which had beautiful arches that framed the bride and groom as they said their vows. And then the party got started at the Carriage House at Hanover Tavern! The reception was full of surprises and even a viewing of the Kentucky Derby!”Gallery
