Their Story
Photographer’s Remarks
“One fresh spring day, a bride awaited her groom for an elegant riverside elopement, wearing a simple gown and trailing clematis vines in her hair. She carried a bouquet of Wabara Miyabi garden roses, white bellflower, lilac, purple clematis, white sweet pea, bleeding hearts, white foxglove, brownie tulips, and fritillaria meleagris. Foraged redbud branches and lilacs crept up white pillars, beckoning the couple to the ceremony beyond.
Under a plein air Greek Revival pavilion at the water’s edge, designer Jessica of J Bennett Design set a table for two with linen from Luxe Event Linen, fine heirloom china, classic silverware, and antique rose pointe goblets. Mini cakes by Zingerman’s Bakehouse with engraved acrylic names in frosted white graced the place setting. An engraved acrylic sign by Focus and Light welcomed the bride and groom.
A circular invitation suite with coordinating floral motifs and printed vellum invited the couple’s loved ones to witness their nuptials overlooking the softly flowing river. Photographer Emily Kyle captured the scene to perfection, including each carefully coordinated detail.”
