This Colorado Castle Engagement Shoot Tricked Us!

Gorgeous sunset, a sweet couple, and did we mention a castle!? Yup, we were tricked (in a good way) into believing this engagement session had to be somewhere over in Europe. I mean, it looks rugged and worn with real stone walls, turrets, and doors. The real European deal … or so we thought. After all, the first thing that pops into mind when you think ‘Colorado’ isn’t a real castle. Nonetheless, Cherokee Ranch and Castle is a beautiful venue to capture a special moment. Historic in its own right, the 1450s Scottish-style castle was actually built in 1924 and is now protected as a wildlife sanctuary through a foundation. Thanks to Elizabeth Anne Photography for the submission. Enjoy!
