We’ve got a wonderfully styled wedding today that we’re calling ‘industrial chic meets greenery’ – one of the popular wedding trends this year! We love how the team that put this shoot together were able to capture an organic and natural feeling (greenery) within such a gigantic and industrial space.
The Venue
The Hangar at Stanley is a former airplane hangar turned wedding venue located just outside Denver, in the town of Aurora. It offers a huge indoor space with an industrial feel in the middle of a bustling urban marketplace with restaurants, shops, services and more. Its a large space full of all the industrial goodness you would come to expect including concrete floors, various metal types, and wood tables/chairs that you can bring with you.
The Decor + Styling
Long wood tables with chairs are a natural addition to fill this otherwise empty space. We love the simple white colors of the table setting together with black cutlery, and an oversized floral centerpiece. Candles of various heights add a romantic appeal to complete the setting.
Cake + Photo Area
One thing we absolutely love is the unique ‘cake viewing’ area set against one of the walls, with a stunning large greenery wreath that must stand at least 6 feet tall. We can totally see how this could make for a great photo op area as well as the focal point for the cake cutting ceremony. Awesome idea and one that we predict you’ll continue to see as the greenery craze continues.
