James & the Giant Peach Styled Wedding

I’m receiving some wonderful fairytale/book themed wedding shoots lately and thought it would be a lot of fun to do a series over the next few weeks, starting with James and the Giant Peach!

I love featuring styled weddings like this because they are filled with so many great inspirational ideas. For ambitious bride-to-be out there, it just goes to show that you can truly make any fairytale come true!

Photographer’s Remarks: “James + the Giant Peach was my favorite children’s book growing up and was the inspiration for this beautifully styled wedding shoot. The amazing group of talented vendors that I worked with made this shoot absolutely stunning. Since spring is upon us, we selected shades of peach, cream and gold. The shoot took place in a private walnut orchard just south of San Francisco.”

A peach themed wedding must start with nothing less than matching peach stationery!

For me it is the elegantly simplistic table arrangement that makes this shoot special. The plates are perfect and go so well with the crystal goblets and silverware. In addition, the pinned peach name card is such a great idea!

Below, a cute setup of real peaches, mini mason jar peach favors, and peach drinks in crystal glasses all arranged on a vintage table.

Naked cakes make a statement on your dessert table. Pair with just the right flowers from your bouquet along with some scattered eucalyptus leaves as pictured above. Wonderful details!
