Photographer’s Remarks: “They got married at her parents home, the home she grew up in. When we arrived we were having on and off again showers so they had rented a tent in anticipation.
“What I found when I got to the room where she was dressing was not a worried or disappointed bride, but a beautiful girl full of hope and joy who was thinking of only one thing: marrying her best friend.
“The sun stayed with us long enough for an outdoor ceremony and then during the reception…the sky opened up and a soft shower covered the dance floor as they had their first dance. But the excitement and love there that day could not be stifled. Katherine and James danced their hearts out and so did everyone else.
“You just can’t plan for a movie moment like this one!”
