You are in for a treat today with this gorgeously styled California wedding shot by Denise Bovee! Lindsay works at Nordstrom doing displays and Erik works for Pixar, so it was only natural that this creative couple did all of their wedding decor themselves (with the help of some talented friends).
Michelle of Mia Bella Weddings coordinated the day and John Park assisted Denise as the second shooter.
Pin
PinWe are so in love with Lindsay’s attire, especially that stunning necklace! Good choice.

PinThe gorgeous bridal party: each of the bridesmaids had a different colored dress, and the guys had fabric boutonnieres to match. So cute!
PinWe love these photos with the pumpkins, the colors are gorgeous!
Pin
PinAnd now, for our favorite part – the reception details!
PinGuests signed in by typing their heartfelt congratulations on a vintage typewriter and were greeted by a peacock handmade out of newspaper!
PinThe image above and the two below were captured by the second shooter, John Park.
PinWe love the use of wine barrels as tables throughout the wedding. Such a great idea!
Pin
PinLindsay and Erik set up this display with photos of their parents on their wedding days and vintage objects.
PinThe silhouettes were drawn by Erik!
Pin
PinThe centerpieces included copper watering cans filled with flowers, glass terrariums, and pieces of wood with slots that the table numbers were tucked into.

November 9, 2010 at 6:37 pmVery nice color palette, especially on the bridesmaid dresses. The wine barrels and typewriter were some of my favorite decor choices. Although, I was expecting some animations with him working at Pixar. 🙂
