Potted Succulent Escort Cards for a DIY Wedding

Their Story

Lisa and Max had a very colorful wedding held at Max’s parents house in the Soquel Hills of California. We love all the detailed photos of this beautiful DIY wedding — the definition of how to do DIY right. Here are just a few things today’s featured couple DIY’d:

  • Lisa designed the invitations
  • The groom made his suit
  • The flowers were picked from the garden to make the centerpieces and bouquets the day of the wedding
  • The couple made their very own potted succulents for escort cards!

The whole property set the perfect tone for such an intimate, bright and joyful event, but it was all of the personal contributions that really made the day so memorable.

Potted Succulent Escort Cards

Love the cute DIY escort card potted succulents that Lisa and Max planted all by themselves. Easy to do with terracotta pots, some paint, and succulents. Then, you can give them out as favors to take home afterwards!

If you’re not the crafty type and would rather buy vs DIY, check out some of these wonderful ready made potted succulents from highly rated Etsy sellers.

A 100% vegetarian meal was served, and afterwards Lisa and Max served dessert as they cut each and every guest their favorite slice of cake.

YUMM!! What a treat it must have been to see all these beautiful cakes arranged on different cake platters.

    Hi there!

Beautiful colors and gorgeous wedding! However, did the groom made his tie too or can we find it anywhere? Many thanks for replying, it seems we are many to look for the answer 😉

    Regards, Patricia (from France)
