Beautiful DIY Fall Wedding at Price Mountain Farm’s Barn

I went to the thrift shop yesterday to look for rubbermaid bins with my husband. Of course, as with most shopping trips, we ended up leaving with 3 bags fulls of something unintended.  My husband scored on finding a book titled, The Everything Outdoor Wedding Book  by Kim Knox Beckius (2006). I have been reading through it last night and this morning, and I look forward to reading the remainder over the holidays to report back to you on how to host the perfect outdoor wedding. Speaking of outdoor weddings, today is a great example of what the above book encompasses!  The bride uses nature to her advantage and sports cowboy boots, for her beautiful DIY Fall wedding at Price Mountain Farm’s Barn. A rustic feel and a girly twist!!   Comments from the bride: “I love a southern rustic theme, but I was hoping to have a little girly twist on it. We are a southern couple, but he knows I have a little diva in me. I am a hair stylist in the city, and then go home to a small town. I basically live two different lifestyles! For my wedding I wanted pops of color, with touched of burlap and mason jars. We got married on a farm, under a huge beautiful tree and then help the reception in the adjacent barn, which is beside a lake. For our wedding I wanted to capture the unique relationship my husband and I share, which I do not know how to explain. I am loud and outgoing, and my husband is reserved and to himself mostly. Which is why we make a perfect match!” What We Love
  • Love this look if you can pull it off. Vintage furniture and decor placed outdoors in a rustic setting.
  • If you are looking to buy rustic burlap runners (or other styles), check out my top 10 wedding table runners.
  • Vintage coca-cola bottles stacked on wood ladders with old crates and fridge dispenser – I sure hope a little one doesn’t run by and want to grab them all!
  • Love the super cute custom initial wire cake topper!
