Today’s bridal shoot got me thinking about bridal attire and the crazy costs that go along with the dress, the veil, and all the accessories.  This thrifty bridal shoot has inspired me to do a post on how you can cut those costs and what your options are for more affordable bridal attire.

Their Story

“When I first met Kurstin, I clearly knew she would make an impeccably beautiful bride. She has this effortless, natural loveliness that shows on and off film.

“She is crafty to the core and when she asked to have her bridal portraits done at a local antique store called One Way Antiques in I was SUPER excited.

“She brought all kinds of home made goodies — fabric streamers made by her & her mother from thrift store dresses, a favorite pair of boots, blue beads that were once her grandmothers and a bargain wedding dress that made her look like a million bucks.

“These are the kinds of shoots that photographers dream about. I am so thankful she chose me.”

The bottom of the dress sits beautifully on her. I love that she is wearing a simple pair of unlaced boots hidden under the dress.
