Succulents make our hearts beat a little faster, so when we saw Adam and Vanessa’s wedding we knew we would have to feature it!
Adam and Vanessa wanted an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family, and they got just that when they married at Urban Lights Studios in Seattle.

Their Story
“Being the type of people who are adventurous and non-traditional, an elopement was in the running as one of the wedding options. Ultimately, they decided more so than wanting a wedding, they wanted to share their promise to each other with the people they care about.
“The couple planned an intimate wedding at Urban Light Studios for 42 friends and family. They also utilized the talents of all their wonderful friends.
“The gorgeous bouquet and boutonnieres of succulents were created by the talented Claire Lewis who also officiated the ceremony. The cake was made by Adam’s sister-in-law Mellisa. To top it all off, a fabulous blue grass band provided the entertainment for the evening.”
Thank you so much for featuring their beautiful wedding! I am so excited to see my photos on the blog. The succulent bouquet just amazed me!! Claire’s business as a succulent artist is just beginning to bloom, 🙂 but if anyone would like more info they can contact her on facebook/clairevlewis. Same with the cake artist, Melissa: https://sites.google.com/site/cakeorpi/home
And if you like bluegrass, the band was fantastic!
Thank you Jennifer and all for the kind words! I had such a great time working on the succulent creations for this wedding! It was a beautiful celebration and the photographs really capture the moment perfectly! What an honor to be featured on this blog!
