Their Story

Today we have an amazing local wedding at Basel Cellars Winery to share with you! We love what Kelsey and Troy put together for their special day, all the details turned out beautifully and the location is amazing!

Here is what Kelsey said about her vision: “At the end of the day, we wanted to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family in a beautiful setting. With that goal at the core, the details fell into place.”

“For dessert, I didn’t envision anything conventional. Although I had never eaten a whoopie pie before, I was thrilled when our friend, Tracey, said she could make them for the wedding. They were the perfect little bite and because we had four flavors, our guests could try as many as they wanted!”

Advice for Future Brides

“At one point during the reception, Troy turned to me and said, ‘Well, I have to admit. Your planning paid off.’ Although he teased me in the early months of engagement (we were engaged for only 9 months) that I was a bit too into the planning process, I am glad that I chipped away at the details as soon as possible and I highly recommend it. The weeks before your wedding will be much less stressful and you can concentrate on what the day is really about.”
