Today’s wedding at Virginia Center for Architecture is an elegant outdoor affair. I don’t know where this beautiful bride got the time to make all of her bridesmaids bouquets and flower arrangements. Boy, did they turn out gorgeous!
Not only were the bouquets gorgeous, but so was the venue. Rated one of Virginia’s best wedding vendors for both 2013 and 2014, the Virginia Center for Architecture is a Tudor-Revival design that was completed in 1919 for prominent financier John Kerr Branch. The completed building was 27,000-square-foot residence featuring 11 levels of European tapestries, textiles, and furnishings. The venue offers 3 great spaces from the garden, to the long gallery and great hall and the social gallery, that can be rented to accommodate a variety of events from intimate bridal luncheons, sophisticated cocktail parties, corporate retreats and of course elegant weddings like this one.
Captured by Lauryn Galloway Photography, she did a fantastic job photographing this couple’s special day!
