We posted an article not too long ago about mountain wedding invitations, and the idea of a fall wedding up in the mountains seems especially dreamy to us.

Cheap Fall Wedding Invitations
Before we go any further, let’s be clear: when we’re talking about cheap invites, we don’t mean shoddy quality, we mean they can save you some dough!
Many brides-to-be are opting to download printable templates for their wedding stationery over ordering pre-printed paper invitations. There are plenty of benefits to this approach including more control over your choice of paper, fonts, design, all that stuff.
You also have the freedom to decide how much or how little you need in terms of accessories. If you want a flat card invitation and RSVP, you got it.
If you’re going to get a little fancier and print the whole kit and caboodle, including place cards, menus, and programs, you can do that too.
Perhaps, one of the best benefits is that using a printable template often means saving money without scrimping on quality, and we’re allllll about saving money. In case you hadn’t heard, weddings are expensive. True story.
Here are a couple of great templates to demonstrate just how beautiful DIY (well, almost DIY) wedding invitations can be:
13. Sienna Rustic Fall Wedding Invitation
Maybe it’s just us, but something about the color and design of these invites sems very fall wedding circa 1940s vintage chic.
We couldn’t help but envision pillbox hats and dainty white gloves. The bride would wear a simple lace dress with an ivory fur wrap (faux fur, of course) and a bouquet featuring chrysanthemums in autumn colors.

14. Rustic Fall Wedding Invitations
Fall colors take on a subtly different feel when painted with watercolors. We think these rustic fall invitations are a great example of how beautifully they go together!
They conjure images of a colossal barn wedding with rustic distressed wood accents, dried florals, and cedar branch tealights at the place settings. The bride would be wearing cowgirl boots, of course.

Fall Wedding Romance
We don’t think we’ve ever seen a fall wedding we didn’t absolutely love. To be fair, there aren’t many weddings we’re only ‘meh’ about anyways, but you get the point.
For many couples autumn holds a lot of personal meaning. Suppose you met your future spouse in the fall. In that case, you probably have fond memories of that magical time getting to know each other, surrounded by dazzling autumn colors and fresh, crisp evening air.
If you’re planning on tying the knot in the fall, congratulations! We hope you get to revisit those special moments from time to time and maybe dancing amongst the swirling autumn leaves while you’re at it.
