22 Gift Ideas for a Brother Who Seems to Have Everything!
Having a tough time finding a gift for your brother? No worries – we’ve been there, and have plenty of sibling-approved gift ideas to help you out.
I happen to be very lucky because I have two fantastic brothers who are a lot of fun to hang with, along with two more fantastic brothers-in-law I love to hang with, too. We’ve always gotten along pretty well (possibly because they’re scared of me), and I adore them, but NONE of them are particularly easy to shop for.
Luckily, our team of shopping genies here at L&L created a list of gifts for brothers that even the most spoiled discerning of them will love. Really.
Pssst – Our post on “Gifts for Men Who Have Everything” is a fantastic resource, too.
Gift Ideas Your Brother Will NEVER Re-gift
1. Framed Photo From When You Were Kids
If you have a pic of the two of you together that you love, this gift is perfect. Upload your photo, edit the text, and prepare for a teary hug. (Oh, he’ll try to hide it, but you know better.)
It’s available in four sizes, framed or unframed with seven classic and five specialty mouldings. Text is available in three color themes.
2. Brother Definition Print
If you don’t have a good pic of you and your bro, this is an excellent sentimental wall art option, too. It’s minimalist, it’s flattering, and if you love your bubs, it’s heartfelt.
It comes in six sizes, frame not included.
3. Beer Chiller
SOMEONE has to keep his beer cold, and that someone is you! He can pop this nifty little chiller by Corkcicle in the freezer. When it’s done, it’ll keep two bottles frosty for him all day for camping trips, tailgating, or guest appearances at your kids’ football games. Awesome.
Or he can keep his beer cold using this monogrammed stainless steel drink koozie that comes complete with a hidden bottle opener!
4. Giant Blanket
Did you and your brother build forts together when you were kids? Mainly because you were grounded from T.V. and had nothing better to do? Us too!
This giant blanket is truly amazing. First of all, it really is enormous, like 100 sq. feet huge. Second, (and third and fourth) it’s lightweight, stretchy, and regulates temperature like a boss.
It comes in 12 really vivid colors and 6 patterns and is made from a polyester/spandex/magical temperature regulating fabric blend.
5. Travel Essentials – Nashville
A fancy travel set is a great gift, particularly if your brother isn’t *ahem* that into grooming. (I’ve seen mine wash his hair in the sink with a bar of soap one time before a last-minute date.)
This luxurious set from Aesop has everything he needs for daily grooming plus some great stuff to use as needed to stay handsome all the time.
Includes:
- Facial Cleanser
- Facial Toner
- Facial Hydrator
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Geranium Body Cleanser

- Mouthwash
6. DIY Hot Sauce Kit
My brother absolutely loves hot sauce; he puts that $h!t on everything. (Just like the ad says!) I had no idea a kit existed that would allow him to whip up his own according to his unique tastes, but I’m soooo glad it does. That’s why this kit made it on the list – and it’s going on my list, too.
Includes:
- 6 Hot Sauce Bottles
- Dried Chipotle, Guajillo, and Arbol peppers
- Cayenne, New Mexico Chili, Ancho, Curry, and Garlic powder spices
- Distilled white vinegar
- Instruction booklet with 6 recipes
- Funnel
- 6 labels
7. Boxing Bell
The design of this vintage Bevin Brothers bell is best known in the boxing world as a signal between rounds, at the New York Stock Exchange to signal closings, and on ice cream trucks to signal relief for the summertime heat. Its ring also signals every time an angel gets its wings in “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
So not only is this bell pretty useful, it’s definitely a conversation starter and a really cool decorative accent to any interior! A unique gift is the best kind of gift.
It’s made from brass and steel and measures 4″ L x 6″ W x 8″ H.
8. Laundry Bag
A laundry bag that does double duty as a punching bag? I don’t know why no one has come up with idea before now, but it’s brilliant! Maybe now he’ll stop complaining about doing the laundry and actually get motivated to get his dirty clothes off the floor.
Made from rugged polyester canvas, it’s collapsible for easy storage (not that it’ll ever be empty) and features sturdy canvas handles to hang it and transport it to the wash.
9. Personalized Money Clip
Put him well on his way to legit adulting with this personalized leather money clip! It’s a classy way to carry his cash, cards, and I.D. – and we think it makes a perfect, masculine gift.
When he takes out his luxe embossed leather money clip to pay for dinner on his next date, they’ll be so impressed, and you’ll be the one to thank. Good job, sibling!
10. Inflatable Sofa
There are so many ways your bro can use this inflatable couch; the possibilities are endless. For example, he can take it camping, to an outdoor movie or music gathering, by the pool, or he can even keep one in the trunk of his car in case he has a little too much fun at a friends’ house and can’t drive home. How responsible!
There’s no need for a pump; it can be inflated with wind, your breath, or a fan (though the fan is probably the fastest method). When deflated, it folds up small enough to store in a little drawstring pouch. Seriously, watch the video on the Amazon site, and you’ll see what I mean. It’s amazing. And hilarious.
It holds up to three people or 400 pounds, and comes in nine cool patterns.
11. Snow Ski Wine Rack
Even if he doesn’t ski, your brother will want to display this wine rack in his home! It’s actually hand-painted and crafted from an upcycled ski to hold three bottles of wine. He’ll get a lot of compliments on it, and it’s a great conversation piece for the legendary dinner parties he hosts. Or that you host, using his house.
12. Squatty Potty
Ok – no one wants to talk about it, but like the kids’ book says, everybody poops. The Squatty Potty is backed by science and proven to aid in waste elimination so your bro can enjoy the go much easier. It’s actually FDA registered and endorsed by doctors.
It comes in plain white plastic or attractive bamboo to compliment his bathroom décor.
13. Coffee Gift Box
For the coffee lover! Give him sixteen 1.8 oz. bags of whole bean coffee from around the world. He can enjoy his coffee in the morning to get the day underway or as a little pick-me-up to share with a friend while catching up at the kitchen table. The bean box comes with tasting notes and brewing tips as well as artisanal chocolates to complement the coffees’ unique flavor profiles.
14. Portable Charcoal Grill
Suppose he likes to cook over an open flame but doesn’t have enough room at his place for a grill? This portable tabletop charcoal grill measuring in at 15″ x 11″ x 5″ is just the thing he needs to prepare a plate of juicy steaks or char some veg kebabs.
It includes a waterproof carrying case, an eco-friendly charcoal pod, a thermometer, a bamboo cutting board and spatula, and a dishwasher-safe nonstick grill.
15. Photo Socks
Your brother is an important guy, and there’s no better way to honor him than to have his face memorialized on a pair of novelty socks! These socks let him know how great you think he is while keeping his toes warm and stylish.
There are several colors to choose from, including custom colors. Attach his pic and a personal message from you. They’ll personalize his socks for a truly unique gift.
Comes in small, medium, and large men’s and women’s sizes.
16. BBQ Cookbook
Every carnivore needs a cookbook to hone their meat grilling skills, and this one happens to be penned by the country’s most celebrated pitmaster, Aaron Franklin.
Franklin’s barbeque is hailed as nothing short of miraculous by culinary giants. Anthony Bourdain, for example. (You may have heard of him – he dabbled a little in T.V. and wrote some book.) And Andrew Knowlton, restaurant and drink editor of Bon Appetit magazine. There are plenty more, of course, but you get the idea.
If your brother aspires to be the greatest pitmaster in the land (or at least in the neighborhood), this book will ferry him to glory.
17. Beer Expert Gift Basket
Gift baskets are almost always a slam dunk (Get it? Basket? Slam dunk??), and a gift basket featuring craft beer and nibbles is just what the brother ordered. He can enjoy it on his own during a Netflix binge sesh or share it with friends when he decides to be social.
This one comes complete with:
- Mountain Ale by Shed Mountain Brewery
- Back Cove Pilsner by Rising Tide
- Ishmael Copper Ale by Rising Tide
- Sea Salt & Cracked Peppercorn Water Crackers
- Summer Sausage
- Cheddar Cheese
If you’d like to give your bro a gift basket but aren’t so sure that beer is the way to go, check out our post on Gift Baskets for Men for more great ideas.

18. Camping Hammock
Everyone who likes to camp, picnic, or sleep outside in any capacity should have a camping hammock! We included this one because it ticks all the boxes:
- It’s made from durable yet soft 210T parachute nylon.
- It’s about the size of a grapefruit and weighs 24 oz. when packed.
- It fits a 9 ft. tall person weighing up to 400 pounds. (If your brother is this large, send pics, please.)
- It’s fast and easy to set up and use.
- It comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
I gave my brother and his girlfriend each one of these (there are 2-person capacity versions, but let’s face it, it’s way comfier to sleep solo in a hammock). Even though the girlfriend is history, the hammock is still a hit.
19. Duffle Bag
At Love & Lavender, travel accessories are a collective favorite gift idea, particularly for guys. (Check out our post on Wallets for Men, for example.)
Among travel accessories, Herschel bags are at the top of the list for style, durability, and practicality. This one features top-carry handles, a two-way zip enclosure, interior and exterior pockets and sleeves, and a zippered built-in shoe compartment.
Made from 100% polyester canvas, it comes in navy with brown straps or natural with black straps.
20. Personalized Scotch Connoisseur Crate
Like gift baskets, we’re all about gift crates, too. If your brother is always on the lookout for scotch whiskey blends he’s never tried (and you can’t even begin to guess what those are), give him a crate packed with goodies to help him enjoy it!
This one comes with:
- Two 9oz. crystal tumblers
- Eight whiskey stones
- Three single malt scotch caramels
- A pocket journal for jotting down his faves
It’s all packed up into a wooden storage box complete with his initials to make it even fancier.
21. Smartphone-Controlled Paper Airplane
Lots of brothers have drones. Lots of brothers know how to make paper airplanes. But do lots of brothers have paper airplane drones? I think not.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1- He’ll create the plane prototype using the included foldable carbon fiber (“paper”).
Step 2- Then, he’ll attach the small BlueTooth receiver included to the plane and pair it with his phone.
Step 3- Now download the app and get flying!
It flies for ten minutes on 20-30 minutes of charge using the included micro USB charging cable. Since it features gyro stabilization, he can get creative with the tricks as two speedy motors easily keep it in the air from take-off to landing. It comes with a complete guide and is iOS and Android compatible.
22. Leatherman Wingman Multitool
Give your brother a multitool and make sure he is prepared for anything – MacGuyver style! If he already has a multitool, don’t sweat it. There’s a good chance he’ll end up ditching it because this one’s better.
With everything from pliers to a ruler, it features 14 useful tools and a removable pocket clip for easy carrying. It’ll stay put no matter where he goes. Even if he has a tendency to lose things.
Hermanos Gobiernan! (Brothers Rule!)
Thank you, Arrested Development, for showing us that having a dysfunctional brother can be cool. (If you’ve never watched it, we strongly suggest that you do.)
We hope these gifts for brother and links to other great gift guides we’ve included in this post help you find the perfect present. If he’s anything like mine, he deserves the best.
