Intimate Wedding in Central Park
Heidi and Layne had a sweet, intimate wedding in Central Park with just their closest friends, family, and their dog! Proof that you don’t need a ton of fancy details to make a lovely celebration. A picnic reception complete with bocce ball topped the day off perfectly!
From Heidi and Layne: Our favorite moment of the day was walking over Bow Bridge with our dog and friends towards the ceremony and first kiss.
Bow Bridge in Central Park
The first cast-iron bridge in the Park (and the second oldest in America), the bridge is named for its graceful shape, reminiscent of the bow of an archer or violinist. Bow Bridge is one of New York’s most romantic settings and a muse for photographers.
Advice: do what makes you happy, find some coordinators to take the stress off the day, make a pinterest board to keep yourself focused and inspired (pinterest.com/heidihysell/
Our favorite detail was the projection we made of photos of us when we were dating and instagram photos from the day of the wedding. The entire playlist for the reception was made of songs from our time together (bands we saw together, albums we had our first kiss to).

Meredith
Despite her dreamy wedding blogger lifestyle, Meredith's day job is running ClassicVeils.com and a full-time mom to an active toddler. If she could, Meredith would spend her days taking cruises, helping animals in need, and watching Big Brother!
how sweet! what a beautiful and colorful day 🙂
The picnic is such a sweet idea!
Isn’t it unique to have a picnic wedding? I admire your creations soooo much. I love this kind of leisure and comfort.
Pretty photos!
I love your idea of a simple wedding, playful at the same time…the cake topper is killing me:)
So simple and sweet–I love that bouquet!
