Budget Friendly and Vintage DIY Wedding
We have a soft spot for DIY weddings that are as budget-friendly as they are beautiful, and this one definitely fits the bill! We were tickled pink to hear that Judith got a lot of her ideas right here on Love & Lavender. From the paper boutonnieres and silkscreened hanky invitations to the vintage china and the chandelier hanging over the ceremony, the details were all lovely and perfectly fit Judith’s vision of a vintage DIY wedding.
The venue was Josh’s aunt’s backyard and the wedding party got ready in her house, which is 104 years old!
The locket Judith wore contained photos of her dad–such a special way to make sure he could be there with them. The bouquets were from Whole Foods, which is kind of crazy considering how beautiful they were!
Now this adorable couple is headed off on a new adventure–Judith is going to be teaching English in Osaka, Japan! Best wishes to you two, and thanks to Blue Elephant Photography for submitting this gorgeous wedding.

Meredith
Despite her dreamy wedding blogger lifestyle, Meredith's day job is running ClassicVeils.com and a full-time mom to an active toddler. If she could, Meredith would spend her days taking cruises, helping animals in need, and watching Big Brother!
Thanks for posting our wedding! We put a lot of love and effort into it, and we’re glad to see that other people noticed!
Simply stunning, and I can see all the Love and Lavender influence!
It looks lovely 🙂 Blue Elephant Photography did a great job!
Thank you so much! The bride did great! She made all the boutonnieres a few hours before the wedding. They were so delicate and lovely 🙂
Lovely wedding! That house is gorgeous! So special it’s so historical and in the family.
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for the feature! We are honored. I’m sharing this on both Josh and Judith’s page and their friends too 🙂 Like now! Judith is about to leave for Japan this week =) She will have good memories today for sure!
What a gorgeous venue! I love the color palette, and the flowers are amazing (Whole Foods? Who knew!)
