We want to give you a bit of a feel for what you can expect from your Minted website. With that in mind, we’ve put together this brief walkthrough outlining some of the major features.
Step #1 – Choose Your Website Template
Minted has 1458 different wedding website templates to choose from at the time of publishing this article. Styles range from vintage to bohemian, or from bold typography to destination. Each has a matching invitation to go with it, and all of the templates have additional matching stationery to really complete your whole ensemble.
Step #2 – Choose A Color Scheme and Layout
Next, choose a color scheme and website page layout from 4 different layouts. If you did an engagement photo shoot, this is the perfect spot to host your photos. Most templates offer a minimum of 2 color changes.
Step #3 – Minted Account

Details
Under Details you are able to enter the date of your wedding, the bride and grooms first names, and also a welcome message. This all appears on the front of your wedding website. Events for Wedding Ceremony or Reception
Under the event tab you can enter information about the ceremony and reception, along with whatever other events you have planned. This allows you to enter the date, the time, location, and even a little blurb about the event.
For events like a bridal shower, where only select guests may be invited, Minted has a great feature where you can mark events private by checking off the Private RSVP. That way the event will only show up to invited guests.

Choose to add guests manually, select them from an address book, or upload a spreadsheet.
Once your guests information is added you can then do the following:
- Add a party size for each guest (i.e., spouse, children, or +1)
- Individually invite each guests to all the events that are applicable to them
- You can download notepad document from all or a specific event. As well, see any response, or a specific response, like attending, not attending or awaiting reply
Wedding Party Attendants
Under the pages tab you will find the page called wedding party. This is where you can add your: Maid of Honor, mother of the groom, ushers, the officiant, etc.
There is even a custom option for that someone special – perhaps Winston the pooch!?

Travel Accommodation
Under the travel tab you can add accommodation information for hotels near the wedding venue or that you have pre-arranged group bookings. This information is helpful for any out of town guests that don’t know the area.
Trust me when I say it will save you the headache of receiving 50 phone calls/emails inquiring about hotels.

Gift Registry Information
Under the gift registry tab you can enter basic information about places you have registered. From the drop down menu, select from a standard selection of registries or use a custom field. You can then enter the description of the registry or the address of the gift registry store. Optionally, add the URL to your registry page.

Layout & Designs
With every template you can choose between the 4 different layouts that can be changed whenever you like. Here are each of the three layouts and what they offer:
Layout One
This layout offers a home page that shows the welcome message at the bottom, plus individual pages which the user can reach through navigation bar. The homepage shows:

- Chosen image
- Wedding date
- Welcome message
Layout Two
This layout has the navigation bar pinned to the top of the page while the user can scroll all the way down and see information.
