Mountaintop Wedding: Kate and Adam
I love how Kate and Adam’s wedding is a mix of rustic and romantic. Her gown and floral arrangements are so soft and romantic while her venue, and decor are more rustic and woodsy. I think it’s absolutely beautiful and love that they had so many handmade personal touches throughout their day.
Photographer’s Remarks: “Kate and Adam’s wedding was held in the mountains just outside Kamloops near the small town of Westwold, British Columbia. Kate’s family built a cabin there a number of years ago and since then it has become a very special place to the both of them. It is where they shared their first date and where Adam proposed to Kate. Abandoned homes and outbuildings weathered by time stand like ghosts among the tall golden grass and alpine trees. If you knew Adam and Kate you would understand, there is no other place in the world that they could be married.”
“The ceremony was held under a large tree surrounded by a natural stream that separated the guests from the wedding party. The burble of the water created a calming hint of background noise as the two said their vows. After the ceremony, Adam spent a few minutes carving their initials into one of the large white Birch trees beside the ceremony site just after the wedding.”
“There was an unbelievable amount of work put into this day. Everything was handmade, the bride’s mother made their cake and all of the floral arrangements and so many other beautiful details that day. Their wedding day was filled with so much thoughtfulness and is a testament to the wonderful people they are.”

Such a beautiful outdoor wedding! We love the pretty little details!

What an ideal wedding. So cute! I love the wooden circles and how they used them for everything! I am definitely doing that for my wedding.
Love her dress, and that cake looks scrumptious!
