Real Wedding: Open Air Chapel Wedding

Last Updated: March 17th, 2021/11 CommentsTopic: REAL WEDDINGSby Meredith

Jessica and Matt had a dream wedding! With rustic decor and pops of  pink their special day with really eye-catching! I love both the open air chapel and their reception area–they really decorated the spaces perfectly!

Wedding Inspiration

“As far as inspiration goes I really just took a lot of ideas from different magazines, Pinterest, and family traditions.  Matt and I are both from the country, he grew up in a small town in Minnesota and I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania.  We now live in south Florida and although we love it there we really wanted our wedding to reflect where we came from and how we were raised.  It was extremely important to me that we get married in a chapel.  When we visited Cross Creek Ranch I immediately fell in love with the venue, not only did it have an open air chapel but it also had a stable where the reception would be. From that moment I knew that I wanted a rustic wedding!  Once we choose the venue everything else just kind of fell into place.”

Favorite Memory of the Wedding

“My favorite memory of our wedding day would have to be when the doors swung open in the chapel, all I could see was the face of my wonderful groom.   The look on his face while I was walking down the aisle was so loving, tender and genuine it had me in tears.  That was a moment  that I would like to live over and over again.”

Advice for Future Brides

“My advice to other brides is to not second guess yourself.  There are so many details that go into a wedding, but you really can’t get consumed with all of them.  Pick and choose your battles.  Your wedding day might have a few hiccups but you need to just remind yourself that it’s not about the details or how smooth everything goes, it’s about you and the grooms very special day, the love that you have for each other and the commitment that you are making to each other.  Soak it all in and enjoy the day, after all it goes by very fast!”
