Real Wedding: Paper Flower Wedding
Where to begin with Jessika and Joe’s wedding. First off — it’s amazing! Secondly I love every single detail of their special day. Seriously, there isn’t anything that I don’t LOVE. The brides dress is gorgeous, flowers are fabulous, and the colorful paper flowers everywhere are so cute!
Look at how amazing the bride and her bridesmaids look!

Wow! The colors the paper flowers, the dresses and of course the photography! Love them all!
Excellent and insightful post! I like this wedding. It is quite gorgeous!
We had a blast helping Jessika and Joe on their wedding day. It is so fun to see it featured here. It was the first event I’ve coordinated where the couple planned a bubble send-off at night. I was a little skeptical, but the bubbles caught the light and it was really magical. Now I’m a huge fan.
Wow, those paper flowers are awesome!! I’ve never seen those kind before. I’d love to figure out how to make them. 🙂
Oh my gosh I love those paper flowers. Do you know if they are purchased somewhere or DIY? Those panda cake pops are too cute too. And I love the photo display. Beautiful wedding.
Hi, Cassie! The flowers were all DIY’d by the bride, with some help from friends, bridesmaids, and myself (her photographer)! They were SO fun to make AND Jessika was nice enough to let me take some home after the wedding, which I’ve since hung above my bed and they look amazing. Such a cool idea and something you can use afterward to decorate your home or give as gifts!
Thanks Carly– do you know if there is a DIY tutorial online she used? I’d love to try and make something like this for my wedding.
Yes! Jessika used a tutorial she found on the Michael’s website, but said she modified it slightly to make it easier. Unsure what modification she made but you can find the tutorial here: http://www.michaels.com/Origami-Flower-Votive-Holder/e10369,default,pd.html?cgid=projects-scrapbooking-offthepage-party
