Rustic Chic Wedding at The Mountain Terrace

To end the first week of February I thought I would share this super gorgeous rustic chic wedding that is overflowing with succulents and beautiful floral arrangements. Alan and Helen selected The Mountain Terrace in Woodside, California for their wedding venue, and it certainly delivers in terms of rustic wedding beauty!

Comments from the bride: “Our wedding coordinators, Christie and PJ, from Going Lovely were incredible right from the start. They took time to listen and understand who Alan and I were as individuals, and as a couple. Alan and I are both straightforward, decisive people, so we knew that investing time upfront with Going Lovely would allow us to trust them completely so we could step aside and enjoy life outside of wedding planning. Alan and I said we wanted to show up on our wedding day and be surprised and delighted, and we were! We deeply appreciated Going Lovely’s talent in finding so many design details that matched our tastes perfectly. Some of our favorite details were the succulent escort cards placed with the table setting and floral centerpieces, lawn games and the gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres.”

“I remember the feeling I had when I first arrived at the venue on our wedding day: everything was perfect, more beautiful than I had ever imagined and I just knew the rest of the day would be the greatest one I had ever had. We exchanged vows against a floral arbor and backdrop of a lush green lawn and a forest of redwood trees, just as we wanted. Our guests were so complimentary of the details: flowers, lights, antique pieces, escort cards, favors, art, decorations, chalkboard signage. It all went by so quickly! My favorite memory from the day was sitting at the dinner table holding Alan’s hand as the sun was setting, looking at all of our family and friends together one single beautiful space. So many moments took our breath away. Our wedding day was the happiest and best day of our lives.”
