Southern Comfort Styled Shoot

Last Updated: March 21st, 2021/3 Commentsby Meredith

We love styled shoots—there is something about a new and unique vision being put out there for the world to see that makes us smile! Today’s styled shoot definitely did  put a smile on our faces and made us a little hungry for some good southern food!

Here is what the people behind the scenes had to say about it:

“Our ‘Southern Comfort’ styled wedding reception table is centered around an innovative color palette and wonderful textures. We focused on tiny elegant touches with a hint of ruggedness. We utilized a neutral palette with small amount of poppy red and a vibrant turquoise. The table is a silk white cloth layered with blush colored laces. The chargers are hand made wicker circles upon which we stacked some chipped white china and small floral tea plates. Building up from the dishes, we used bright teal bandanna napkins and accented our hammered steel napkin rings with pulled wheat and chicken feathers. These items are extremely inexpensive, yet layering them hones in on that southern vibe. The table setting also sports small items such as the tin buttermilk pitchers, classic mason jars, white candlelight, skipping stones and petite daisies.”

“Our Southern Comfort dessert table exhibits many of the same features as our reception table however we have added several focal points. There are old-fashioned boxes of popcorn for guests to snack on proper to cutting our cake pop pies. We sprinkled classic peanuts everywhere, these would be another great carry around treat for guests in wax packages. To keep up with the southern theme we offered cherry cake pop pie and chocolate peanut pretzel rods in mason jars. The south is all about this awesome duo of sweet and salty that Pretzel Creations has put forward.”
