Make an Impression with Tungsten World

Last Updated: October 21st, 2022/2 CommentsTopic: BRIDAL JEWELRYby Meredith

When Tungsten World approached me to do this sponsored post, I had to said yes. I love the look of their wedding bands, and I love the idea of a personalized fingerprint on the ring.

Here’s why:

When my husband and I first met, I already had a #1 in my life. She had an orange complexion, 4 legs,  a fetish for shoes, and was 17 years old going on 85. I am speaking of my beloved cat Tabitha of course!

Once my husband and I started dating seriously, I would always tease him that he was my #2.  After we got engaged and were nearing the wedding date, he asked if he would become my number one once we got married.  I told him that I would have to think about it.  Of course, I knew he would become my #1.

I got an idea that I should personalize his ring by having the band engraved with our initials, the wedding date, and the letters “#1.”  It was a wonderful touch and surprise for him to find the engraving on the day of the wedding.

There are different ways you can personalize your wedding bands.  You can engrave them with a saying, picture, or pattern, customize by adding a particular color stone/diamond, or make an even bigger impression (no pun intended) by getting your fingerprint on the wedding band.

Tungsten World has created a line of rings that make it possible for the wearer to customize a wedding band. Most rings are not one of a kind, but if you can add your own spin and unique detail to your future husband’s wedding ring, it makes you part of the ring process and makes the ring special to both of you.

I love the look of the ring material and high-quality tungsten carbide.

One may wonder how on earth your fingerprint (laser engraved) can be captured on a ring.  Tungsten World makes it super easy.  Simply order a ring online and then send a print of your finger by following their easy steps:

  • Use a white sheet of paper
  • Ink your finger and carefully pressing down onto the paper without smudging
  • Once you have a clean print that you like, either take a photo of your print or scan it.
  • Email your digital fingerprint to Tungsten World. Done!

An engraved wedding band is a daily reminder that he can forever admire – whether on the bus, busy typing at work, or holding a cold beverage on the patio –  to remember that special wedding day. Along with the fact that he is number 1 in your life!

I love tungsten rings. They are lightweight, extremely durable, and can still have the shine of silver.
